I was thinking about what's the best armor build for Insanity that would give me the most survivability. I noticed that if you have the full kestrel armor then you get atleast a 20% boost to your sheilds(even more if you swap the helmet for the Sentry Visor). My question is if you add that on top of the Sentinel's Tech Armor does that give you a nearly indestructible sheild?
Tech Armor + Full Kestrel Armor = Best sheild defense?

In practice stay for couple of seconds in open fire and you're dead. Of course when we talk about Insanity. Below that Tech Armor itself gives you a lot of protection, but it's a good idea to boost it. And you can even take GSB as bonus power, giving you crazy shielding

Kestrel armor makes no difference, if you take Assault Armor, you are nearly invincible, provided you have the cooldown upgrades and maxed out passive talent. You might also take Energy Drain and boost your shields as long as there are enemies with shields. I prefer Stasis though.

On Insanity, it's not the amount of shields, but a fast and reliable way to replenish them, that gives you invincibility. Either that, or just killing/disabling opponents so they can't fire at you at all.

Just hold on to classical military wisdom. Make them dead before they can make you dead or stun them with shiny armor!
On Insanity nothing makes you invincible, so those marginal changes are not of major impact. Though the GSB+Tech Armor might actually prove somewhat resistent although I understand there are requisitions on how to activate it in order to work ...
