It's likely just a system limitation that they had to work around too, and are doing it to try and not confuse people wondering why they can't order the SE.

Ahh ok well that explains it. I thought the offer was the upgrade till jan 11th didn't realise the SE was temporary. It also explains that the pre order stuff will most probably be all in the box. I'm going to sit tight now till release.

As previously you need to wait for the reaponse from the EU Team for clarification on pre orders for the PC normal edition from Game UK and Gamestation.

I too would like official confirmation if we get the pre-oder bonuses or not from Amazon.co.uk. I pre-ordered PC SE from Amazon.co.uk & it would be nice to get all the pre-order bonuses aswell All Amazon say about SE is "Sign up to be notified when this item becomes available."

But I suppose it depends how the pre order bonuses are implemented because for PC you could download some of them anyway (like that memory band ring for DAO) whereas some needed an activation code...

At any rate the PC SE costs £24.99, the normal edition costs £28.90 so I can't complain too much over a sword & shield can I!

I am sorry to say that, no, Amazon.co.uk will not be offering the pre-order items Fadeshear or The Lion of Orlais.

This was their choice, not BioWare or EA's. The only thing I can suggest is contact Amazon.co.uk and complain. Sorry.

That makes no sense at al, then why offer the SE at all? Now it's just the regular game in the cover of the SE. This really ticks me off.

Chris is there no way to get the items some other way? We did pre-order after all...

Edit: I know that the Exiled Prince is also part of the SE, but for me the items were also part of it. x.x

Perhaps, but that's not really the point here.

The thing is that we paid for the SE (or the regular edition) with the assumption that we will get those two items as a pre-order bonus. And Amazon is just not doing what they should be doing, that is giving us the items.

Sure, in the end you could blame bioware for creating pre-order bonusses, but at this point Amazon is wrong, since all the other retailers (afaik) are delivering the items.

@tamahome, the DLC (exiled prince) will probably be in the box (like Shale with Origins) and everyone gets the Emporium stuff.

Yes. It is the Fadeshear and Lion of Orlais items that are not included.
