Perhaps I'm a bit late on this information as well but does anyone know if items are transferable. For example via xbox live like a mmo? Or even your original characters gave save to a new save? Seems unlikely but would be sweet indeed.
YES! another item question.

They're tied to your account and the copy of dragon age purchased; no transferring between PS and PC versions for example. But you will have access to them every playthrough.

Not possible, and I don't see why you would want that anyway? Even if you would want to use the best items from your finished savegame in a new game with a lvl one character (wich would give you a very unfair advantage), you wouldnt have the needed stats to wear them anyway.
Also, its not like there are items that are impossible to get or anything. If you want a particular item, just go get it from the place where you found it with your first char.

As I previously noted "not likely" but to my reasoning of wanting them though I would be unable to use them...Well simply because I had not known that you can go back and receive the same item in particular areas. That last sentence alone would've answered my question. The rest is an (though appreciated) irrelivant opinion.
