Neither Dx10 nor Dx11 is adequately backward compatible to be used alone.

You are correct. The other comment was based on bad information. The game comes with the version of Dx9 that it needs already on the DVD.AwesomeName wrote...
It is? I vaguely remember ME1 not working despite DX11 being installed - seems relevant enough! Thanks for posting, but I could've sworn dx11 doesn't run dx9 games for some reason...
