For one,
I must truly be prude.
After all, sexism, exploiting women, and being unfaithful to your significant other are all the corner stone of America.
And I absolutely MUST be ignorant to the fact of what the esrb rating of this video game.
Completely.
Not only that,
But I'm some kind of mystical unreal creature, making my appearance HERE, on these forums.
I admit it, I'm a troll.
I live under bridges, and I eat children.
It's not as easy as some of you may believe.
What was I thinking.

Seriously how is being semi-nude even close to being able to be described as porno?
If something that ridiculous makes you and your girlfriend uncomfortable then I don't know how you even watch movies together.
haha.
actually, we have a hard time finding movies.
We both are very jealous over eachother, and are very self concious.
And, in all seriousness, I do not mean this to be patronizing nor condescending -
Perhaps the issue here is your relationship with your girlfriend is not (I hesitate to use the word mature for that will come across as insulting and it is not my intention) ?secure? enough that the two of you can witness nudity together?
If either or both of you have some moral convictions against nudity, that's one thing.
But if you have problems watching semi-nudity (seriously, I find it extremely difficult to drop the label "porn" on demons being slaughtered) in a video game, let alone movies that have intimate scenes or bare breasts and butts or whatever, just together then there's a level of uncomfortableness between the two of you that has nothing to do with movies or games.
My wife and I quite enjoy watching shows like True Blood without either of us being uncomfortable. Then again, we've been together for darn near 2 decades so ...
Might I suggest just forcing (if your girlfriend agrees to it, of course, if she sees this as a problem like you seem to) the two of you to sit through some steamier movies (or even tv shows), perhaps discussing your feelings or what's happening on the screen, so the two of you can become comfortable with such things - even if it isn't your intentions to actually regularly watch such things.
That discomfort in your relationship is what I'd be worried about, not bare pixelized nipples on something you are busy virtually hacking to pieces and burning to cinders.
They are in Middle School so this post went over his head.

Hey Sam I agree with you. I wish there was some kind of toggle that would turn off or blur that kind of thing. I'm married and wish to remain faithful to my wife in both body and mind. But Bioware did tell us about the various aspects of sexuality in the game. It is our choice whether or not to play it. Maybe with the toolset you can do something about it. If your playing for pc that is.
How can you not see how f'd up that kind of attitude is?
Seeing a naked breast will make you impure, yet wading through buckets of blood as you maim and mutliate other living beings is a-ok?
He's a christian.
Playing this kind of game? With a different "god" and "magic" and "Violence" and "Sexual themes"?
Not a very good one then
Obviously, how could they give their money to such devil worshipping companies like Bioware? They even made DND games (the ultimate game of Satan).

Two words, Grow Up. Im a 30 year old married military man and knew what i was buying when i got the game.
The demons are part of the lore for the world thats why they are desire demons and not fluffly bunny demons of cuddling. They tempt men into doing stupid stuff like posting about porno demons on a virtual web page.
As for female exploitation WELCOME to the world, here is your t-shirt and hat for coming. Everything is exploited including men, or are you to ******-phobic to notice every polo or jean ad that has a topless dude with a 24 pack from hell that every woman in the room is drooling over. Atleast your not in china or some other country where they are exploiting children.
Go back to poke'mon or something.
So because you followed orders blindly, and murdered people, You're a badass?
I do not understand.
Does your wife approve or premote you sitting on your 'military' ass and looking at ****** and ass in your videogame?
Ok, true troll colors shown. Ignoring rest of posts.

It seems to me that women are very well represented in the game. We see them as regular parts of the army, as high ranking officials, important party members, wearing "real" armor, etc. If you feel that the desire daemons are exploiting the female form then in my mind the designers did an excellent job as that's exactly what they are doing just as rage daemons exploit peoples anger.
Why are you wasting your words on this troll?

2. "Porno Demon" takes Line of the Day™ honors, hands down.
3. At least have the balls to say you're only offended because you feel like you're supposed to be offended.
4. Just because it bothers you that doesn't mean it should be removed from the game. You're just as bad as people who f***ing picket movies and decry video game violence. It doesn't hurt anyone.
I might be going out on a limb here, but I'm going to say nobody will commit rape today because they saw a Porno Demon. Grow up and get a pair.

And even in the chantry women are the only ones allowed to hold the highest title. Unlike in real life where women are nothing but overly put-down Nuns in churches who need to devote themselves to Christ.
And lets not even get into Judaism and Islam...

This goes back to the "yes, BUT" idea posted above.
You have to learn to look at an attractive female with whom sex is out of the question and you have to be able to deal with it, Otherwise, what will you do when your 17 year old daughter or niece wants you to take her to the beach? She won't thank you for asking for less bikini and more burqa.

As for the tree porno demon, look up Dryad, yet another mythical creature that has been around for ages.
Geez, people afraid of women being exploited, welcome to the wonderful world of "human nature", sensitive men are the minority.
P.S. Anyone ever see The Whitcher's sex cards? you want to start a revolution about it, start there. Can't say you'll get very far cause the game was made in Poland, not the US like this game was. Funny how the Europeans have a lighter view of this issue than we do, and they've been around alot longer than we have. Stupid Puritans....

I can understand that this game would feel quite revolting if someone in Amish county would be allowed to play it.
How did your gf react?
