Wait, you're uncomfortable about a demon who's purpose is to seduce people being sexy? Ohnoes. A women who's uncomfortable with seeing the shape of another women has issues. You can't even use the femnist arguement because there's plenty of strong women characters in the game AND the most ****ty character is male.

Also, claiming that depicting women as sexy beings is just stupid. To an extent feminists are correct. The media (ie hollywood and tv) set a bad example by having all girls being skinny and unnaturally pretty, but on the other end no one harps about all the abuse women are put through in other countries. Rape, mutilation, murder, treated like baby-factories and so on.

I am a Christian and I like looking at boobage and naked women as much as the next guy. I am also a happily married 42 year old man to the same woman now for over 16 years with two beatutiful daughters... 11 & 12 years old. My main character IS a female.



The 12 year old actually sits beside me while I play and helps me with the chat choices and watches the fight scenes. Neither she not I nor my wife have any problems with anything in the game because we lead very good lives that do not follow the typical sheep trodden "fire and brimstone" crap that a lot of the far right extremist versions of Christianity do follow.



So please, get over the generic, broad brush "He's a Christian" comments. This guy has issues and should not have been allowed to play the game because in his mental state, probably brought on by a very structured puritanical upbringing, he is not capable of discerning "pretend" from "real". Same goes for his idiot girlfriend and the person who posted supporting them. Dude, if you consider the playing of this game "mentally cheating" on your wife, then you as well have issues that need help with that go far beyond the OP original problem with the game.



It's ALWAYS the extremists in any form that give a group of people a bad name, and with Christianity, the same thing exists. Being a Christian, in no way, excludes a rational thinking person from enjoying life, enjoying sex, looking at a nekkid body, or from playing a game with adult issues like Dragon Age does. Either grow the hell up or like was posted earlier, go back to Hello Kitty...

Honestly this is a game that shows great army battles where both genders fight on the field as equals in proper armour, a game where plate armour on women means plate armour and not metal bikini that wouldn't protect you from the cold.. and you play the feminist card over what is essentially a SUCCUBUS?



Like it or not, using their sexuality IS THEIR JOB. It's their primary weapon. Do you expect them to be dressed like nuns?

My 6 year old sister watches me play Dragon Age.

She likes it, except..... she yells at me if I kill mabari. Even if they attack me first. She's all "DON'T KILL THE DOGGIES!!!".

She does, however, laugh if they kill me. Sibling loyalty, eh?

yeah, she's also in Avatar: The Last Airbender and we're both stoked about the movie. She and I play the game and *gasp* we actually talk about the situations that come up and why she would give some of the responses that are offered up in the dialogue trees.



I can't get her to roll a character though. She's rather just watch me and make the dialogue desicions. I have found myself in some odd situations because of the reasoning of my 12 year old who is just starting puberty and beginning to feel the effects of teenage hormones



Gonna have to go replay it all again after I beat it and make my own dialogue decisions and see where it leads....
