Odd...I had no trouble in ME1 playing as a Sentinel. Hell I even had Kaidan/Wrex as party members.

I find Sentinel the easiest to play, tbh............. For a start the tech armour gives the Sentinel the best defence in the game and it lasts til it 'breaks', which is better than things like barrier. In ME1 I used Kaidan and Ashley, then after Virmire, Kaidan and Liara (Saren falls FAST with that team)

The other class I enjoy is Infiltrator as the ability to cloak is very useful too....

If you are dying a lot then dial the difficulty down, there's no shame in it. It is a game and is meant to be fun :-)

Sure sure he get some good defense but his totally worthless in ME2 with his throw.

I used Wrex and Liara in ME1 and it was like a cake walk most battles after getting these two. The biotic combined with a big dmg soaking immunity Krogan was crazy.

Im thankful of all advice :) I will go for the Eviscerator-shotgun and the cain!

I do consider it easy to play in ME1 but so bad weapons in ME2 :P I although wonder what happended to the achievement for finishing giving you "All your heavy weapons", I don't have all the heavy weapons on this character. Not that i use that many aside the Collector beam. Better get the Cain then too! :P

Infiltrator sounds like my next char! ;D

It means if you start a new game with the save you just finish, you will start with all weapons and level of that save, but no upgrades, and the opponents will be of same level as you(for example, if you were lvl 25, then every foe will be at 25 at the begining of the game) , this is what people call NG+.

Stupidly then it told me I get all "heavy weapons" on my new ME1 char. Bah! :P

That also explains why the damn loki mechs been so damn strong in my NG1 with my soldier.

I noticed how one can rush up in melee almost without fear if its not to many enemies with the tech armor. Also husks are nothing. Run upp, shotgun them or punch them with the backing of the others. When the armors goes out, toss up a new one!

I guess abominations might prove bit more of a problem with this tactic.

I find Throw to be good for Abominations. Once you get them to health, give them a toss and they generally explode where they land.
