Did not receive Bioware Points paid for by PayPal

Hello,

Yesterday I attempted to buy some bioware points paid for
via paypal.  The page would not load after I confirmed my details on the
paypal site and was taken back to the bioware page to complete the
transaction and there was no way back to it through history etc. and my
points were not updated. I later received the confirmation of payment
email from paypal stating that I have been charged.

Could I receive either the points or a refund ASAP? I can provide the invoice number and other details from the paypal email.

You'd need to contact EA Support - preferably Live Chat if its an option for the quickest solution...though be prepared to hear something along the lines of "wait 24 hours to see if they show up"...jfyi, if the other recent threads in this forum are any indication, Bioware Points are screwed all to hell atm - try not to bother with them for a while...

Having problems purchasing BioWare points . Money is taken from Paypal acc. and then link to site is broken have Emailed EA Support NOW A FEW TIMES but have not had a reply. maybe time to initiate a dispute in the Paypal Resolution Centre

Got the same problem./ Bought the points, they were payed and all, but no points on my account. Strangely if I buy them through the Dragon Age points buying thing (directly from my account to add bioWare points) they get add... But still I have payed for a lot of points, but no points to use.

My first experience buying Bioware points.

Suffice to say, I bought the points through PayPal, got up to the PayPal 'Pay Now' icon. Clicked it and the page went dead so I assumed it didn't go through. So I did it again.

Now looking at two receipts on my account, and no points whatsoever to show for it. Worst service I've used thus far. Very dissapointing.

Solved!



Very quick resolution via on-line chat support. Took about 10 minutes and my points were added. Make sure you have a screen cap proving paypal transaction available.

Didn't have to prove anything, I just told them that my points hadn't gone through, after a brief few minutes wait, they gave them to me.



Worst service I've used for buying dlc. Yet the best support I've encountered. They should balance that out :P

The Live chat works perfect for fixing the problem with Bioware points, and PayPal.

All you have to have is a picture of the email from PayPal, and they fix it, great service.

Does it say 'pending' for everyone when they go to 'manage accounts' on the .points.bioware site? If so how long it been like that cos i just purchased 1600 poins today and wondering how long it may take to arrive.

Now it's saying "Internal Server Problem. Please try again later." When I try to log in to get to chat. What the crap is going on over there? This feels like a dirty scam site now.

Had the same problem with paypal going through but the return to Bioware site not working, sent e-mail to EA support but after no reply for 3 days I went to live chat and got it fixed within 5 minutes.

Was really simple to get the points added, didn't even have to give them a screenshot. However, a word of warning for anyone whose paypal email is different to the email they registered here with, they need the latter. I actually have Dragon Age and Mass Effect DLC purchased with different accounts (bad experience using primary email for games, so switched for ME). The points went on to my DA account, which I don't use any more, and they refused to take them off that account and put them on my new one. Which sucks for me, so keep that in mind if you've done something similar.
