Here is what he says about his experience :)

Just finished a completionist playthrough of Dragon Age II on 360 last night. It was so damn good – holy crap, you can’t stop playing once you start. Loved the combat and abilities/tactics, the beautiful art, the fantastic sound and music, the amazingly compelling companion characters and the epic story. Great work by the team – I think our fans are in for a real treat come March 8th!

Well, he's not going to say otherwise, obviously, but I guess that's still good-ish news. :)

Did you expect to hear something else from him?

That's unexpected. I thought he's going to say that the game is the worse he ever played.

Seriously, I think DA2 will be a great game, but I never heard of a boss company that said that his product is bad.

So if it is so good you can't stop playing it once you start, did he pull a '24' (or longer)?

Anyway, if it is that level of awesomeness then ROLL ON THE 11TH MARCH! (uk release date)

ALTERNATE UNIVERSE

"Just finished playing DA 2 today. I'm wasting my life. This game is just so pointless. Its broken and we've found it has subliminal hate-crime instigating messages! The graphics are hideous and I despise it! Whats more, I despise all of you! Why did you have to expect a good sequel you S.O.B's? There's no point, no point to it all. I'm gonna take my replica darkspawn sword and-
(note ends here)"

Phew! Thank the maker we live in this universe! Grrr, come faster March! I want my pre-order sig edition. :)

Well I doubt he'd ever say anything bad but it's still good to hear.

Glad to hear it. Has the game even gone gold, though? Or did he play a half-assed version?

He didn't say it's the darker second act and that it is emotionally engaging ... I'm disappointed.

You didn't actually think he'd say-

Just finished a completionist playthrough of Dragon Age II on 360 last night. It was so damn mediocre – holy crap, you can totally stop playing once you start. Hated the combat and abilities/tactics, the substandard art, the bland sound and music, the amazingly boring companion characters and the lame story. Bad work by the team – I think our fans are in for a real disappointment come March 8th!

Of course not. You know why he won't say that?

Because DA2 is everything he ACTUALLY said and more. Well, that and he's not going to badmouth a Bioware game, but still.

I'm SO looking forward to DA2.

Really? I was expecting him to endlessly b*tch about it being dumbed down, theres no women to his taste, the boobs are all far too big and he can't dress up/arm everyone exactly how he wants.

I'm truly shocked by his statement. No really, I am.

I too finished a playthrough of Dragon Age II, but on the PS3. It was so awful, gameplay is broken, there are way too many framedrops and the graphics suck! You want to stop playing after like 20 minutes but I still completed it, just because Bioware asked me politely. Hate the clunky combat and the terrible camera, the ugly art, the generic music, the very dull companion characters and the terrible story with a lot of glaring plotholes and other bull****. Bioware should just quit while they're at it!

I really like that he chose to add "completionist". I remember reading that he logged more than 100 hours in origins. Such a geek for a senior vice president! :P

Well, I'm glad the co-founder of the company liked it. It's always nice to get an unbiased review from an observer with clear perspective and no ulterior motives. It's also nice to read fair and balanced criticism that pointed out the unavoidable flaws of any artificial creation.

Clearly the game is worth more than the 60 dollars I put down for pre-order. EA should totally charge us double the original price and make every single NPC companions a paid-DLC that costs 15 dollars.

Otherwise it'd be like we're stealing from their amazing music and epic story.
