I think I'm more surprised he stopped playing poker long enough to complete the entire game.

Well if Ray say's the game is great it must be great, can't possibly see any other reason he'd say something different.

Poker?

There was a comment in an article made somewhere in the past where it said Ray was obsessed with poker.

Ray Muzyka probably has a smaller stake in the game's success than most game magazine previewers (since he knows that 99% of BioWare's income this year will be coming from TOR), ergo he's the most objective source right now.

You mean Ray "Shepard-is-predefined-character-when-it's-convenient" Muzyka liked his company's game? Shocked I am.

I bet he has a Marketing background. Was that too harsh?

...What?

Why in the world would a CEO of a company who spends millions of dollars making a product say "this product sucks" when he plans to sell and make money from it?

Besides that, DA2 doing bad would probably affect ME3 and TOR's sales.

Yep, that definitely makes it into the top ten list of dumbest posts ever made in this forum. Congratulations, assuming of course that post wasn't sarcasm in which case you're disqualified.

Seriously, one of the top exec's of a company having a small stake in one of their companies major, multi-million dollar projects. Seriously? Seriously? I mean seriously?

BioWare has made the kind of games their founders like from day one.  And like or hate the metamorphisis and design decisions it has served them very very well.  There is a reason that BioWare has a pretty loyal following and have been successful long term.

I'm sure DA2 will be enjoyable, but of course one of the two main BioWare founders is going to say nothing but good things. I'd be more interested in a review by someone a bit more... objective. (edit) Also a review after the initial hyped-up-foaming-at-the-mouth-this-game-is-fantastic period.

On a side note I wonder whatever happened to Augustine Yip?

I doubt he would have said anything if he thought it was crap, though.

Same. I mean, I'm sure he liked it, but the creator of the company liking it is a whole different ballgame.

He's actually a doctor, as same as Greg Zeschuk :)

I'm really curious how long it took him, cause in DAO he wrote something about 120 hours, and mine was 95 hours so it finally would answer the only question I have about DA2.

If I wanted to read a completely biased review, I'd head over to IGN.

According to various sources he went back to practicing medicine.
