I heard somewhere that the opening comic from PS3 Version will be updated into the 360 and PC versions. Does anybody know if this is true, and if it is when can expect them to be updated?

I think so.

It'll look worse though.

What do you mean? like the quality will be scaled down or something?

Don't worry - he's just trolling.

If it also comes to PC/360 it'll probably look just like it does on the PS3.  :)

I'd imagine that we'll see it after the PS3 release - we don't want them to feel any less special than they should. :)

Definitely, bro!

The 360 is using DVD disks after all. That **** is from the stone age.

Yes, the PC and 360 will get the comic too.

I should warn you though, it isn't very good IMO. There are a lot of inconsistencies and the art is a bit questionable.

Dude, the 360 has more than enough processing power to display a 1080*1920 still frame.

Aside from that, The DLC will be on the hard drive not the disc.

Not without screen tearing and slowdowns.
Face, consoles are old as **** and the 360 is running way behind.

Good grief.

Console wars never end

Anyway, yes, I do recall the announcement that PC and Xbox 360 users will get it, and I believe it will be free of charge. I looked it up one day because I'll use it. I hate having a new character having decided to let the Council burn.

Just don't give this person anymore attention, people like him lack reason and ethics, or are just annoying people because they like that. It's pointless.

I own a PS3, so I am not biased in opinion. You PS3 fanboys are making the Xbox 360 look like s***! Beside the Blu-ray player, is the PS3 better? Personally I don't think so. Xbox has ME 1 and graphics that rival the PS3. And does the PS3 have compatibility with PS2 games? Unless you paid $500-$600, the answer is no. At least when I want to, I can play Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and San Andreas without having to have an original Xbox.

And ME 1 + ME 2 + Xbox 360 > ME 2 + PS3.

Please stop before a console war begins :( I can't support so much anger, it's tearing me apart :crying:

If you don't want a flamewar, don't feed the trolls. It's that simple.

No they don't, and pretty much all the ones  I've seen on these forums were started by that guy.

On topic though, I believe that the comic is coming for 360 and PC and all three versions should be identical. I would personally prefer to replay ME1 though, that comic omits a lot of details.

I have both machines and I really like them. Usually, the multi-platform games look and feel better on the XBox 360 simply because the coding is easier so they don't look as sloppy. The PS3 exclusives are much better technically than anything that can run on an XBox 360. The XBox has a better controller and better online network. The PS3 has more power (Though only exclusive titles usually take advantage of this), and a blu-ray drive (you can watch blu-ray movies and have fewer discs; ME2 is only 1 disc!), but you almost always have to install about 30 minutes worth of stuff to your hard drive before you can play.

I personally think that they are a wash... Arguing about consoles IMHO, is about like arguing between Dell and HP.

Edit:
I was under the impression that the comic was for PS3 only.  Poor PS3 guys are missing out on ME1 :(

Finally someone with reason about this subject. I agree with you. I'm pretty happy with both of them, aside from the hardware failures and my bad luck.

well, I saw some samples through Youtube. that wasn't really impressive. if you have time, just buy ME 1, play. that's better.

Console debates are generally pretty dumb.  The only way that they would make sense is if you are arguing about exclusives.  Since Bungie is no longer making Halo, and Mass Effect2 is on PS3, the only exclusives that I have on either console are Uncharted and God of War.  FWIW, I think that the Uncharted Series and the ability to play blu-ray discs makes the PS3 a good buy even if you don't buy another game.

I bought a ps3 then sold it a month later because of lack of good games. Killzone 2 and resistance 2 and socom confronatiton got boring so i went back to my xbox and my mass effect :)

I may buy a new one eventually but until then pc and xbox keep me happy.

I'd say it was 'acceptable'. A very good tool for those that don't have the time to replay ME1 again, and don't want to use the default choices.
