There should be a Renegade Cerberus aligned ending where you storm the Citadel tower with Cerberus troopers, seize power and execute the Council! This would be a Renegade ending (cuz I know paragons are going to have a heart attack reading this). I mean if the Paragons are going to get a kumbayah, bunnies and unicorns ending i want a dark ending!

Awesome, we can remove these incompetent fools and get some real leadership! With the Collector base in his right hand and all of Citadel space in his left hand, TIM will "...lead us into battle against the reapers and drive them back into dark space!"

Also maybe we could make some sort of genetically modified 'heir to the throne' (after TIM dies and his rule ends) by combining the DNA of Renegade Shep, TIM, Ambassador Udina, Satan, Rear Admiral Mikhailovich, and a bit of Zaeed Massani.

1. I dont expect them to have won, or even to be on the offensive at this point. But they act like they already won and dont even bother to check first. Defensive and struggling and with military propaganda would have been awsome.
2. Quarians are not allowed to have an embasy. That is racist. Those who have made the mistakes of the Geth are long dead, but they hold a grudge against the current Quarians because they are quarians.
3. But they have no voting power, no way to fight a dicision, no other courses of political moves. The council decides everything, they just get to make requests of the council.
4. 2500 years and they barely got anything done. humans come on the scene and threaten them in not even a century of time.
6. I think the writers just dont remember what they are doing. How did a human colony appear on a perfect world in the Citadel cluster itself...
7. medigel is technically illegal. Genetic augmentation of soldiers are so limited, much better effects are not allowed. ai are hostile because organics are hostile to them first. geth were all nice and friendly till quarians decided to kill them all. and the ai on the citadel was hostile because organics made ai illegal. it wanted to leave because organics would kill it. it knew that it would never be allowed to survive if found out.
8. The citadel fleet was unable to defend against a geth fleet it knew was coming. Saren closing the citadel and Sovergein hiding the entire battle does not change this fact that they could not defend.

1. Again, they pushed the Geth oiut of Citadel space. It was more along the lines of a Gweth insurgency and one large strike then an actual war.
2.No, its really not. You have to understand that the Quarians created a synthetic race, and set it loose on the galaxy. The issue violates Citadel law rather egregiously, so you have to understand thats not something easily forgiven.
3. The Council doesn't decide everything. Again the Council is oversight, and is far from all powerful; its still beholden to the Council governments and the other members. If they abused there power, others races would have little reason to stay.
4. If you mean they've united a significant portion of the galaxy, helped created a widespread economy, promoting trade by protecting trade routes and dealing with threats to galactic security and preventing war between species , while dealing with diplomatic issues, then yes, the Council has done nothing.
Except all that.
6.  Could be a writing gaff, but it is there, and is therefore canon. Humans aren't being forced to take crappy planets.
7. And yet medigel is everywhere for something technically illegal. Weird no? As to genetic modification, the law is meant to prevent people trying to create supersoldiers through genetic engineering. As to the geth, its not entirely true they were 'nice and friendly' till the quarians tried to shut them. As Tali puts it in ME 1, the geth were on the eve of revolution when the shut down order went out, and while the shutdown was probably not a good solution, war broke out almost instantly. The A.I. presidium's first response upon meeting Shepard is to start the explosives.
8. Actually they didn't know the Geth were coming, at least not at that time. They were on alert yes, but they didn't expect the Geth to be able to make a frontal assault on the Citadel without them knowing well in advance.

1. My Thread. Dont need to repeat ourselves here.
2. Judging them based on their race is racism. The end. Those who messed up are long dead. And they are civilians, you should punish them for the actions of a few who created the geth platforms. This is like punishing Germany after WW1, and you can see how that ended up.
6. Cant argue against bad writing. If Bioware wrote turians could suddly fly in ME3, you would just have to accept it as canon i guess.
7. And yet, they were not. They asked if they were alive. The Quarians sought to rectify that problem. Geth were not trying to kill anyone, The Quarians were merely afraid of their creation getting bored with manual labor. But THis is also another thread of a topic that has been discussed to death. Council is racist to AIs. The end.
8. Shep told them that Saren was going to Ilos with his fleet. The council decided they were really going to attack the Citadel because they felt so important. So the council has fleets stationed at every relay to the Citadel to defend themselves.

Why does overthrowing the council mean you have to make an evil human empire? Why cant you overthrow the council and start a galactic republic to bring equality and freedom to the masses. The council is too stupid to live. But replacing them with an oppressive dictatorship is dumb.
Also, why do so many people want Renegade to be evil? Are humans all just dicks on the inside who would do evil acts if they were free from repercussions?

You get rid of the Council in a coup, there will be great hostility towards humans so the aliens must be put down. Plus if you are going to overthrow the current government, then you might as go all the way.

1. If you say so. But it's still important here.
2. I'm not seeing it is as racism. It's judging the action not the people. And honestly, the quarians did make a mistake the galaxy will have to deal with for centuries.
6. That's an extreme there, buddy. Your example doesn't have a leg to stand on; Berkenstein's there, and it disproves your point that humans get only 'bad' worlds.
7. The quarians weren't "merely afraid of their creation getting bored with manual labor" to quote you in that particular. The problem was that it was technically the enslavement of a race of sapient beings, which a) is a bad thing(really goes without saying) and B) is not good when its a workforce numbering the millions and is on everyone of your worlds can communicate and plan as one giant 'hive mind'. The geth weren't exactly happy with the situation as you would imagine. So, I'll say this, A.I. have proven themselves dangerous, and in most cases, not willing to negotiate. And yet you've said before that the Council can't recognize threats, and yet here they are, recognizing a legitmite threat.

i think that you should have an option to overthrow the council, restructure it into a galactic empire with shepard as the emperor TIM as an advisor and not have to completely kill of the aliens, i mean really come on. ooh let the citadel be destroyed (or atleast all the people on it) and then come in like a knight in shining armour destroy the reapers and take control of the galaxy as a benevolent hero-king, people would be grateful "hey this shepard guy saved the galaxy lets make him our ruler "

As a Paragon i support this, as long as there is some sort of compromise like a public execution of TIM after your done cleaning house on the Citadel to grab sole power. We'd also need a "Protection Squadron" with insignia's on their arm.

Keep in mind the only people who know about Shepard's feats are his squadies, TIM, the Council, and some alliance brass.       The vast majority of the citizens would see any march on the citadel as a hostile takeover by a tyrant.     And if you are renegade, most non-human species feel threatened by humans in power.

Miranda tells you in a conversation that Cerberus has a military branch... they were a covert ops that worked with the Alliance but went rogue so to speak.   It's the military division that Shepard fought in ME1.    However, I think EDI says that Cerberus only runs like 5 operations at a time so that TIM can stay hands-on on all of the projects

Uhm not true Shepard is super famous in ME2 everybody even random aliens know who he is. For example A random turian who hates humans on the Citadel is very impressed with you if saved the Council and gives you a discount.

Second it... third it. w/e

Should be available for paragon too.

Storm and tell the council to fall in line or die (paragon)

Storm kill the council, and place, Samara, Mordin, Garrus, Miranda, as the successors.
PS: dont kill anderson he did good... just let him retire. He lied to me about Ash I dont trust him anymore.

IN the end, GOD YES. I want to see a scene were Krogan, rachni and geth primes are storming the citadel tower... while rachni, Quarian, geth fleets blockade every mayor council held colony.... sigh too much for words.:wub::devil:

If we do get an ending like this then I hope that some of the squad mates fight against you. Seriously, how awesome would it be to personally execute Tali?

How about I execute you instead:pinched:

EDIT: erm I take it back... part of it... if Kaiden/Ash and Anderson fight back... hohohohohoho. Now that would be awesome. Be glad to shoot the damn traitors.

A- Ash brushed me off... she didn't trust me... she broke my heart.

B- Anderson went behind my back and didn't trust me.

typical alliance.

Would be awesome if Admiral Hackett realizes its the only way to stop the reapers and offers his loyalty to me.... god how ironic that would be

His voice is the one that saved the destiny acension in ME1... his voice through me AGAIN... is the one that holds it hostage/ destroys it.

sigh I get shivers just thinking about it.

Although honestly I rather have a paragon, hold world's hostage and force the council to step down rather than kill em :P

This is also the military branch that suffered losses at the hands of Shepard and biotic children.

Psh, you're doing it wrong. Indoctrinate Garrus and have him strangle her to death, since they go back a long way.

OMG, UNICORNS!?!? YAY!

but seriously, I'm not against this.... as long as the reapers are destroyed first. I love my renegade characters (even though I prefer playing paragon or paragade). I want the paths of both alignments to diverge quite a bit based on my choices. That is the main reason why I play with different choices each time--it's fun to see my renegades be big a**kicking jerks and my paragons be self-sacrificing softies.

Good times. I think storming the Citadel would be fun... darn that turian councilor.

Yes, yes and yes. Originally I was like wtf...but you know, that actually sounds like an A-bloody-wesome idea. Kill the Council, Kill Udina and Anderson, Kill the Illusive Man, Kill everybody personally. And make me an Emperor Shepard statue!

This would be perfect as soon as we take care of the Reapers, let's take care of the galaxy ;) And yes I am paying triple if it has such an ending :P
