I'd rejoice if the Mako was back.

Mako was fine... (those mountain madness and complete disregard for geology (hell even Moon looked like he was just hit by huge meteorite stream) were reasons for my many fury outburst during planet explorations.) so i wouldn't mind if somehow upgraded Mako (rocket launcher would be nice addition for long range attacks) will return.

i would get in the hammerhead, shoot at it, realize no damage is being done, get out, get in the mako, and drive away

I would graft the thrusters and homing missiles from the Hammerhead onto the Mako and leave the HH to be scavenged as I *fly* away in the Mako.

I would be personally delighted to see the Mako return and one of the first things I would do would be to drive the Mako over the Mariotank (aka hammerhead) and crush it to dust. It seems Bioware missed the point of all the complaints. The problem was not the Mako the problem was those crappy generic planets they used that had mountains with 90 degree gradients.

it was in ME2, if you got the Normandy Crashsite DLC.
so I'd do the same thing I did with it in ME2..look at it and go...."man I wish I had a Mako/Hammerhead hybrid"

I'd do that too, but not before making the hammerhead catch fire and explode by tossing a small rock on it.

Dump the Hammerhead and take the Mako for a spin. Unless the HH gets some shields and stops bumping into every little edge the ground can provideof course.

Weep tears of joy?
This too. The HH isn't bad it just need to be able to withstand a firefight better. I mean it's supposed to be a infantry fighting vehicle it should act like it.

Yep, I'd have the crew strip down the hammerhead - find a way to attach the hoverpads to the mako in a retractable fashion (wheels or hoverpads - you choose), and enhance the mako's forward thrusters for a greater speed boost.jackkel dragon wrote...

Then I'd sell the remains of the HH (not much) to the quarians.

Do a dance, a jig and a waltz before jumping into the Mako and running over the HH until is scrap, and that should take about 3 seconds since the HH is made of tinfoil....

The Hammerhead hovers...yet bumps into everything. Can't take a hit and all you have is one weapon option.
The Mako might roll or spin over sometimes, but it's no worse for wear in doing so. Flip it down a mountain and it keeps on truckin'!

I would be ecstatic and hope that they installed a radio so I can blast the WHO as I cruise across the planet!

I would cry.. and then wonder if it was possible to gather resources and explore in some other fashion. I hated both Mako AND hammerhead, I hate driving in general, and Mako especially handled so clumsily on PC. at least hammerhead had smoother turning ability.
