The mako was just the poster boy for a bigger experience...exploration, freedom, discovery.

NOW if they bring it back with the same size of the map.... try at least giving us some path finder VI, on top of which fill the maps with more to do not some isolated stuff miles away from each other, more bases more explotion... for god sakes somebody throw a pie in the vaccum of space, most of the time is just empty....

I would be very pleased so long as Bioware stuck to segments like Feros and Ilos and ditched the ridiculously high mountain ridges that made no scientific sense.
I always preferred the mako as a vehicle. Yeah it was tricky to drive but no worse than the boat in HL2 (IMO).
It always got undeserved flak because of the terrain we had to drive it over/around/under.

Now that's what I call Ford Toughjames1976 wrote...
The Hammerhead hovers...yet bumps into everything. Can't take a hit and all you have is one weapon option.
The Mako might roll or spin over sometimes, but it's no worse for wear in doing so. Flip it down a mountain and it keeps on truckin'!

That's why you drop the Mako on the military targets, they'll never see you comingSpartas Husky wrote...
I woudl rejoice as long as they made the maps a bit smaller. ALl the mako needed was a bit smaller maps. Maybe choose where to drop. And if you drop near military targets you dont survive. stuff like that common sense. Not some big ass empty space.

That'll be a nice retirement Shep, EDI, your LI of choice, and best buds using the Normandy as an Intergalactic Winnebago and the Mako and the Hammerhead as your ATV and JetSki.

What do I mean by attitude? Better thrusters / orienting thrusters and speed. A boost that when hit would kick up one hell of a rooster tail of dust from a dead stop. Anything so I can run hard, rough, and jump.
If they added gravity effects that might be interesting too. Course some sort of guidance thruster pack would have to be apart of the rover.
I'm thinking about a particular movie where some guys turned off their downward thrusters so the rover would float across this chasm to get to a drill site . . . hint hint. . . *sighs* Movie Armageddon 1998?
On the other hand I'm fine with the Hammerhead too, but I have to admit I didn't care for the old arcade platform jumping stuff. Nor did I like not being able to get in or out of the vehicle.
It would also be nice to have a mechanism in place to allow for customization to the vehicles with some positives and negatives to it.
Oh and a few extra cans of paint for I'm sure any vehicle I'll be driving will need some touch ups, hell maybe even a new paint job after the first hop down.
*whispers* I'm sure if my squaddies were alive they would be begging you not to put the vehicle in the game at all! I'm sure I had Garrus filling up a few barf bags on my last outing. . .

Seriously though if the Alliance mass produced the Mako I'd think their ground army would be pretty much invincible at least against other ground troops and vehicles.

Garrus: Just like old times...
Tali: *call to the flotilla* Um, yes, I'd like to order another shatter-proof visor. Yes, I expect the visor I have now to shatter soon. Do they still come in purple?
