Ok this is ridiculous.  I have played about 45 minutes of Dragon Age and have had it freeze up on me about 8 times.  2 times during the opening sequence, so I had to recreate my character 3 times.   It freezes at random times such as when I'm about to enter a conversation or even when I press start.  Anyone else had a similar experience?

I'm so disappointed as my xbox recently recieved the RROD so Microsoft sent me a new xbox this morning.  So I doubt it's my system.  Any help would be appreciated.

had about 3 freeze ups in the past week so certainly not as severe as you but while it is a awesome game it is definatly disappointing that it should have at all.

THe game has not froze once on me thus far it has draopped in Framerates when I did Sleep, Waking Dead, Death cloud but thats to be expected. It only did it that once now I have no issues. If you are playing off the Hard drive you may want to delete the hard drive installation check to see if you have a smudge on the disk and reinstall. I have seen issues with playing off the HD if that is the case.

I've had it freeze once on me but since then have had no problems with it. Try checking to see if there is a smudge or scratch on the game disk.

I had some frequent freezes in a cave in Orzramaar; had to reload like three times. Haven't had any problems since then. I'd really suggest checking your disc or your machine.

Did you install it to the xbox hard drive? I have it installed and it's never once frozen up on me or dropped in frame rate.

Had some freezes too but nowhere near as much.

I checked the disc and there are no scratches or smudges. Maybe I'll play Madden for a while to see if I get any freezing on that.
