The above quote suggests that Liara's role as the Shadow Broker precludes any viable romance from occurring, and that any relationship is therefore undesirable.

I do not dispute the fact that relationships can be more difficult when both parties often spend time apart. However, contest the assertion that any romance which neglects to incorporate regular physical contact is undesirable.

Actually, all the above quote says is that Liara will have a heck of a lot on her plate as the new shadow broker. And that is the reason why I never romanced her. If you are fine with a relationship like that then that is fine, you are entitled to your opinion. I would prefer a relationship where they aren't apart from me because they have other duties for a lot of the time.
I am not saying that 'regular physical contact' is essential. Just that spending time is preferable to being apart. I don't see why you are twisting my words when my comments say something different.

I wouldn't call that ridiculous, as it's a subjective opinion that he and others are entitled to.

As I said earlier, besides VA there's no difference, and that is, like I said, subjective, when in there post, they were definitive that the romance is superior as femshep.

To some people, VA makes a huge difference though.  Also, I'm not sure where you are getting that a definite comment was made....I never took it that way, tbh.
