I was just looking at the Steam Digital Deluxe Edition and noticed that they are offering "The Wicked Oath" (ring which adds +10% to crit. damage, +2 armour penetration and +1 to combat stamina). Why is this not available to the hardcopy edition, if though we are paying more it?

EDIT: Okay so I dont look like too much of an arse, I think its because the hardcopy gets a nice case and game manual. Which id rather have than that digital item, personally.

It is called marketing and deals. Steam get something exclusive so that those who care get something extra if they d/l from Steam, more cut for Valve.

What has been really unfair but also very cool (for me at least), was that the CE was 55$ when first put on sale, hehe, neat mix up on their side:-)

You can just make your own ring like that in the toolset. I ordered the deluxe hard copy for the tin case which I will keep cookies and cheese for Alistair and me in.
