I am sure that this thread or anything of its like has not yet been created for the Windows PC forum. The closest threat I found was one which concerned Mages being unable to cast certain spells with or without sheathing weapons.
My question is simple: Is there a command which allows your controlled character to unsheath and sheath his/her weapon? In PS3 version and Xbox 360 you could simply press the attack button (X for PS3) while not near an interacting object or character. Was wondering if there was either a hotkey or a mod which allowed us to unsheath and re sheath our weapons in order to view them better than on our backsides.

The PC version doesn't pretend to be an action game (a "problem" they've fixed in DA2) so there is no attack button. Some talents will cause the PC to draw weapons for a few seconds before they're automatically sheathed. Generally ones that don't require a target - sustainables, area attacks, etc. For example on a DW warrior, momentum, threaten, dual weapon sweep will cause the PC to go into "combat mode" for a few seconds.
