OMG .. I just followed wath the EA customer support stated to do an its still not SHOWING UP!



1) I deleted the game Data as instruced.

2) I deleted the DLC and Patch as instructed

3) I go to install the game for the 3rd time (this takes about 30 minutes)

4) go to my PS Store and re-download the Cerberus Network

5) It "installs"

6) Go to Mass Effect 2 - log in via EA and NOTHING!!!



I've spent 4 hours trying to get this game installed with the Cerberus Network and ITS NOT WORKING!!!

yes its installed, but I can't get to the comic. which is the whole point.

On the 360 version, in the menu on the left (not the laptop) there was an option for cerberus network. I only have two selections there "New Game" and "Extras"

actually it didn't for me. It went straight in to the game (where Miranda wakes me up)

I'm from Aus, but I live in Japan. I like to game in English. I got my new copy of ME2 from play asia. 

I have both an Aus and Jpn sony network account (I can get demos and news in English from the Aus one, while the Jpn account lets me play COD with people actually in the same geographical area). 

I prefer playing logged into my Jpn account cause thats where most of my trophies etc are...

The cerberus network code doesn't work when I log into either of my accounts...

Any help or reasons why my code doesn't work would be appreciated...

If your game is a Japanese version then it should work on your Japanese account. But look at the the back of the box. Does it has a BLUS, BLES  or BCAS? code? (BLUS= American, BLES= European PAL (UK) )

It's BLAS (guessing asia). But like I said I like to game in English. I bought a Jpn copy of FIFA10 and sold the next day at a 2000yen loss ($20) cause all the commentary and menus were in Japanese.. That's why I buy games from play asia now... I don't want to game in Japanese...

my redemption code for my game doesn't work, its brand new and from north America. is there anything i can do to fix this or do we just have to wait for bioware to fix the problem. its annoying that i cant even watch the comic

If you're using a US version than you have to use a US psn account. If you downloaded the DLC and you can't see the comic don't panic, the comic will appear after 5 minutes you started a new game.

Same as my game massgrunts and Dogfighter99. Why is EA so bad about Redemption Codes? I buy the damn game early and now I get a bullcrap message about the code being invalid? REALLY NOW?

Live in the U.S., bought in the U.S., and getting hosed in the U.S. *sigh*

where do you live and did you import your copy? If you have a US copy than you must use a American account

Wow guys There are like 100 reply's that are saying: ONCE YOU INSTALLED THE DLC, START A NEW GAME. THE COMIC WILL APPEAR AUTOMATICALLY AND YOU CAN CHECK YOUR ARMORS ETC. WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT YOUR SHIP. PLUS THE LAPTOP ON THE MAIN SCREEN DOES NOT OPEN. So if you have downloaded the DLC just press New Game.

I'm trying to redeem my code on bioware's redeem page but it says "code not recognized". Us game, US account. Can successful companies really **** up this bad on a simple promo code???



I cant even get the EA servers to activate when I start up my game. It says please wait and then gives me some error message. What a pathetic system!

Dude you have to try it directly on the PS Store. Just open PS Store and you see a icon above that says 'Redeem Code'. Give your code there. (and make sure you are connected to internet with your ps3 off course)

You can't even open the PS Store unless you're connected to the Internet.

If the catalog number starts with BLES, it's an EU copy. If the catalog number starts with BLUS, it's an US copy. If the game has a PEGI age rating, it's an EU copy. If the game has an ESRB age rating, it's an US copy.

You need to use it on a PSN account of the region of the game. My Mass Effect 2 was the european version, and it didn't worked on the american PSN. But then i logged in the european PSN and it download the dlc fine.

I have done this twice with a code recieved with the game - and with one provided to compensate for that one's lack of success and both failed. Waiting on a repsonse from EA concerning the problem. Really shouldn't have to fork out $24 for the comic after it said it was included with the game. No internet connection issues, EA registration issues or otherwise. Love the game but this is holding me back from enjoying the full experience...
