I played ME 1 on the 360 before it died and I replaced with PS3. I was psyched about the comic so I could reveiw the story and pick some of my same decisions - and continue on the PS3. Oh well. I guess I'll go with the default instead of starting over.

When exactly is the comic supposed to occur? It doesn't make any sense that Miranda says that you sacrificed the council before you get a chance to choose otherwise, and her scene with TIM comes before the Normandy's destruction.
Edit: I'm actually playing it on the PC just so you know.
The intro as been changed for PS3, she doesn't say anything that hasn't been decided in the genesis comic.
The Genesis is on the pack you get with the code, it starts after the intro.

ah man! I should have read a bit more about the game, I thought that the download content pertained only to the firewalker and zaeed and I was fine not being able to get that as I have that on my PC version of ME2, BUT it seems like ALL DLC is tied to the cerberus code key after all (w/c means I WOULD have to DOWNLOAD ALL that extra content)... I thought the disk would contain the kasumi, overlord and lair of the shadow broker DLC as well as the interactive comic on disk like they did with the ultimate edition of Dragon Age... !@#! sorry about that, I brought the PS3 version thinking I can catch up on the DLC as loaded ON the disk (I NEVER connect my PS3 to the internet ... logistics crap on my end) EPIC FAIL for ME T_T
Kasumi, Overlord and Shadow broker are already on the disk, not the comic.

This should be downloadable off PSN for free via the use of the code included in the box along with the game.

yes you do (it's stupid I know) EA wants to reduce second hand copies of games. The comic comes with the Cerberus DLC and it cost 15 dollars :s If you don't have one it's not that bog of deal, you can fully experience ME2 without importing ME1Pappi wrote...
Do you have to go online and download cerebrus pack to get comic?

Please this topic is very large so could anyone please post a definitive answer for this question?
maibe wirte some step by step like:
1. donwload cerberus DLC
2. start a new game
3. the comic will show up rigth after the intro when Normandy explodes
if it is correct everyone can use it as an answer!

dude seriously believe me when I say that you can fully enjoy the game without that comic. The comic let you choose 4 things. For example in the comic you can choose to kill someone or not. If you don't kill him someone gonna thank you for not doing so. They only mention your choices in like 3 or 4 VER SHORT scenes and that's it. So just enjoy the game, you're not missing anything.Amnoric wrote...
Honnestly I am really, really annoyed by the fact that you have to download Genesis from the Store, as I never connect my PS3 to the internet. I live on campus, And for some reason the University decided to block things like Game consoles... World of Warcraft and so on. So now I am stuck playing the game with the default choices, which frankly don't appeal to me.

It is not just that at least one or two of those choices will also have an effect on Mass Effect 3 as well.

As someone who has just finished the game on default settings , you do miss some choice within the game. Though idk if you would really miss those choice if you have not played the other game. And sadly it seems I am pretty much screwed over by EA because screwing over paying custmers always works well to make sure they don't try to get your products for free.

I know what I'm suppose to do but the comic isn't on the PSN. AT ALL. If it was there I would have downloaded it already.
