These are JUST my own thoughts, they are in no way supposed to be taken as a fact or as insulting to what others may believe about the characters!

So on that note - what are your views on the characters? Please do list them as I have, and if there is a specific reason then by all means state it. BUT do not turn this into a flame war, I expect posters to be polite and I will make use of the report button should anyone start throwing flames.

Also, don't feed the trolls.

Yeah, I have to agree with you there. Out of more than a dozen Shepard ME1 savefiles, I only have Liara with a maleshep in one, and liara is not with a femshep in only one. So, I pretty much adhere to your theory. I prefer Liara with femShep and it seemed weird to have her with my maleShep. However, that is probably because that's how I got used to it. It wasn't until my third playthru that I played a male character. Watching him flirt with Liara felt odd, so I went with Ashley.



However, just because it feels weird to me, doesn't mean I would abhor others from doing it. It just feels more right for an all female (monogendered) race to prefer a femShep (especially when a femshep's body shape is so similar to the asari). Just my two cents.



As for Kelly, I wouldn't find it insulting to say that she'll sleep with any species. In fact, I doubt Kelly would find it insulting to say that she'd sleep with anything that moves--as long as you were joking. She seems to have that sort of life philosophy. This doesn't make her a sl*t, it just means she lives life differently than many of us.

Aside from garrus and Jacob... I dont mind it with thane he seems very spiritiual and not hindered by gender so to speak.

I'll keep quiet because I know my preferences are in the minority. But he is definately the least human looking of all the alien LI's.
I think asari in general tend to suit femsheps, but are not exclusive to femsheps.

Presumably, jlb's response was her own way of dealing with it... logically, that image makes no sense.



Anyway, I always saw Garrus as more of a bi option than Thane, but there's nothign wrong with Thane. It could happen. As for Miranda... I have a feeling that she would see her feelings for Femshep as kind of a weakness, or at the least something not totally desirable, less than perfect. That sounds like what her upbringing would have led to, and it'd take quite a bit of work from Femshep to move past that barrier.

Kelly doesn't strike me as "loose," per se.

Pansexual is a pretty good term for it. A bisexual friend of mine once told me, "Some people are just more sexual than others." And Kelly seems to be done with male, female and a variety of Aliens.

Most likely nobody would have that much to say.

I find it ackward how women who are more sexually active than other women are looked upon with bad eyes, while men in the same situation, are either just idolize by their fellow men, or just not regarded as important...weird

As far as Tali is concerned, I think it would be more appropriate for her character development if she becomes Shepard-sexual in ME3. As if she starts off straight and non-romance toward a FemShep, but over time, she opens up to romance with someone outside of what is usual or normal for her...

But then, I still think it was a little cowardly on BW's part to not have more "Either" romance options in ME2.
