As far as I'm aware the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 will never have the cerberus network messages.

If if have the Cerberus network on the 360 will I be able to use it on the ps3? I have rented the ps3 version.

You would only be able to use it on the PS3 if you bought the cerberus network content on the PS3.
The xbox cerberus network doesn't allow the cerberus network content on the PS3.

it works great now, I played the xbox version to death and didn't know the ps3 wouldn't show the cerberus messages.
