Overall I thought the game looked really good and I loved that there was variety between missions (Thane's and Kasumi's were particularly interesting) and they kept the game feeling fresh.
So now all I can do is hope for a ps3 ME1 release...maybe?

- The comic was a great idea.
- The story was fantastic.
- The gameplay was easy to pick up on.
- Enjoyed the space travel and mining.
- Would be cool to traverse on some random planets in part 3 whether it's mission related or not.
- I know THQ is doing the Warhammer 40k games, but I think it would be cool to feature Space Marine armor as a bonus in the next game.
- In ME3, I would like to see squadmates' be customizable, even if its something as small as only changing the colors of their outfits. To were if I choose to, I could have them all in the same color scheme.

Just about the only thing that irks me is the most-would-say-trivial matter of the DLC portion of the ending credits being silent. Apart from that -- and various little plot and gameplay things that don't really belong here -- I'd say you crafted an excellent game.
As a port it needs that patch ASAP and I know it's forthcoming. Too many people have had too many problems. But overall? You kidding me? Superb.

The comic was cool (Cooler when I realized I could speed through it, lol) though if I wasn't already familiar with the story I think it wouldn't have been as entertaining. (Geth are a mildly important thing to not mention. Just saying.) Little bit of glitchyness here and there but I'm assuming the patch will fix most of that.
Though... Is this really the ME3 engine? I didn't notice much of a difference, to be honest. I was hoping for something a little more.... I don't know, like the jump between 1 and 2. Not that I'm complaining. It's still pretty awesome. My sis saw one of the cut scenes and thought I was watching a movie.

The graphics are beautiful, the story is amazing and i love the conversation wheel. I thought i was going to hate it having been used to pc games in the past and baldurs gate style choices but it works well and makes conversations feel more fluid. Im now really looking forward to dragon age 2 using this system.
As for people saying things are missing from teh first, for me this doesnt matter as obvioulsy I havent played the first so dont know what im missing with certain characters.
I think the comic was fun if a little overwhelming. I was struggling to keep up with who was who and trying to think through my decisions with little or no background. Maybe a book included with the game with some history in it would have been a great addition.
I do use the codex though to swat up on history and figure the cultures out.
The great thing from my point of view is that shepherd is supposed to have lost some memory since he was dead, so for me this works great as i feel a bit like i lost some memories (pretty much all of the first game since i didnt play it
Finally i would say i agree with some people here as to the fact that some characters seem to have been ported straight from 360 and look a bit crappy from what ps3 users are used to. I first noticed with the counciller in the capital city (i chose the good guy who didnt want to be counciller in the comic and he looks half finished when yuo meet him)
Some of the textures on the hover buggy mission are a bit weak but its not a major problem, and the game locks up once in every few hours, but so did dragon age, i think this is a bioware feature.
Other than that, loving it, so happy i bought it.
Ohh and ps the demo you released nearly put me off the game as it was jumpy and had tearing in it. Im glad you sorted that out for the full game!!! I nearly didnt buy.

I played through ME1 on the 360 more times than I can remember. The comic is a welcome component that helped jog my memory as its bean about 2 years since I've played ME1.
The game itself is awesome. only glitch's I've experienced have been the laggy audio during cutscenes, one floating Krogan, and a weird graphical glitch where the screen went mostly black(was fixed when I restarted my console). The story so far has bean exiting and moving.
Glad I only have to wait 11 months for ME3!

I've had some glitches as well, but nothing game breaking. A noticeable amount of sound lag, hope it gets fixed in an update.

There are too many real time notifications coming up to read them all in real time, and they don't stick around very long. It would be good to have a log in the Mission Computer (Start Button Menu) so that you can go back and read them and see what you may have missed.
L2/R2 Triggers are too sensitive
I keep bring up the L2 trigger menu (Gun Menu) when ever my finger lightly touches is. Need to turn down the sensitivity so that maybe 10-20% trigger opens the menus instead of less than 5% trigger. (these numbers are a guess, I think you know what I mean)
The Good news is I am enjoying this game.
There are no Zombies. So far at least from what I have played. To many FPS fall in to the Zombies, Undead, Unleash evil hell category, I really like it when games avoid this.
I like the Game Play mechanics, smooth movement, good control sceem
Incridible graphics and environments.

Her inclusion is also the oddest because Feros is the ONLY planet not mentioned in the comic.

Too curt to do the first story any justice. What made the first Mass Effect so epic was how hidden these concepts were as you rambled about the galaxy seeing only glimpses of them (the relays, the citadel, so many new species, the keepers, the small mentions of Cerberus), and really getting more caught up in the dialogue and relationships Commander Shepard was building everywhere. I'd rather delete that comic from my disc because it's kind of insulting.
HUD: Faces on Shepard's butt, orange boxes floating everywhere, and a "visor" overlay on a third person perspective all subtract from the feeling of immersion in what's probably the deepest experience ever made. <3
CONTROLS: Give me a "Customize" menu!

I would have loved to ave played ME1 but as microsoft is apt to do they put their greed in front of customers so I will just keep the comic. Besides would rather have that then an old game that doesnt play as well.
By the way all of those who think any game doesnt look good on a ps3 you might want to get a new tv.

Just been on Illos and would like to say its weird that you meet someone from Feros there, this leads me to think that other characters like Conrad Verner and others.

Exactly, Verner's and Parasini's absences are out of place. Overall it was fantastic though.

The comic did a good job of introducing people to the story (although the mission on Feros was omitted so the colonist on Illium did not make sense, I looked it up later)
There were a few glitches, like Overlord in the hammerhead

The comic is very good. It isnt enough to really understand what happened in the game, but 30 minutes to an hour using google can help with that. Its great because it allows one to create another character with different ME1 decisions very quickly. I hope there is something like this in ME3.
The variety and quality of the characters gave this game an excellent story. Especially Miranda, Legion, and Mordin. The conversation wheel generally gave all the appropriate choices. The paragon renegade system worked well, only really because the paragon choices werent overly nice or sensitive. The minor characters (set pieces) brought a lot of depth to the game and were very much liked.
A couple character comments (didnt really impact enjoyability of game):
--Miranda's ass is huge, maybe a little too big.
--I wonder why Garrus never tried to fix his armor.
--Samara's boobs should be locked up.
Gameplay for the most part was good. I think R3 could be used for melee and circle could be opened up for something more useful, like another squad ability. The cover mechanics worked well enough. Moving around corners or over obstacles seemed difficult at times.
The leveling up system was awesome. I hate getting xp for killing individual units because it gave someone the incentive to grind. I never liked grinding. The upgrade system worked pretty well, money was hard to get so I had to be selective in my purchases. Another welcome mechanic.
The weapons and ability diversity was good and very fun to use, especially on Veteran difficulty.. On intensity difficulty I found myself almost exclusively relying on overload and warp which could be monotonous. That being said, intensity is actually challenging, which is great. It is difficult to find challenging games these days.
The scan and hack minigames were pretty irritating. The galaxy map looked really awesome, sort of reminded me of final fantasy from PS1 days. Planet mining was actually somewhat enjoyable, although switching from L2/R2 to L1/R1 would be better. R2 and L2 get tiring to hold down after a while.
Overall, a great game. My favorite game in a long time.

I knew next to nothing about ME and I stayed away from spoilers for ME2 for the most part. I had expected to like the game due to its large fan base but I never expected to sucked into it as I have been.
I had to create a new Shepard due to the corrupt save issue but it ended up better in the long run because by then I had seen several videos of ME to give me some background and made different choices throughout the comic which suited my character better.
Comic: I love the idea, however I didn't feel it really captured the essence of ME. I felt as if some of the background information was framed in a somewhat misleading fashion from what was presented in ME, which I didn't realize until after viewing videos of a playthrough. The comic was a bit overwhelming for me due to the fact that there was alot of information and I felt it rushed me through decisions.
The story is wonderful, characters are interesting and engaging. I have enjoyed immensely the different environments and some are just so beautiful, I wish I could live there, lol. My favorite moments so far are when the Archangel is revealed and when Liara discloses the reasons behind her involvement with the Shadow Broker.
I look forward to ME3!

HOw come the fish still disappear after feeding them?! A year later and you still cant keep fish?! LOL! Silly bio...
You must not be feeding your fish often enough because if you don't feed them often enough they die and the feed fish button removes the dead fish.

I suck at third person shooters (like... a lot) and so far the game hasn't punished me for that. It's still fun regardless of my suckage. It's good for those of us who aren't "HAWDCAWR!"
Great voice acting (though I don't like Man Shepard's voice. Too "blah" about everything, that boy.)
Enjoyed the loyalty missions. Great having a little story centering around my squadmate so I can get to know them better.
Good characters. I love all my squadmates (though I haven't picked up Tali or Legion yet)
Planet scanning is seriously addictive. My thumbs hurt, but it was worth it.
Fair story. It's kept me interested and wanting to know what happens next.
The bad:
Didn't much like the comic as it didn't give much information. I made my choices at random.
The fuel system stinks. I am reluctant to explore because of it.
There doesn't seem to be enough... "build-up a friendship/relationship" dialogue with my squadmates. Romancing Garrus was especially awkward because of it.
Minuscule, blurry, unreadable text! RAWR! Er... sorry...
The ugly:
Grunt's face
...
I kid. Grunt is adorable
Glitches encountered: Shep's eyelashes vanish and reappear between saves/loads. Her eye shape changes too, but maybe that's just because her eyelashes are gone? Re-loading usually brings her eyelashes back.
Had one color glitch where the screen when dark red. Saving/re-loading got rid of it.
Total freezes: 4. Oddly enough, all in clubs: Twice in Afterlife and twice in the Illium club that I can't recall the name of.

I loaded on the Citadel once and Shepard spawned inside a cab, I couldn't move and was lucky to be close enough to the rapid transit that I could get back to the Normandy but that meant sitting through the loading screen twice which is REALLY long compared to the PC version.
I've also noticed recently that the dialogue cuts out near the end of some of the non-cutscene lines which has happened to Shepard, Kasumi and Miranda on Horizon, entire words get cut out either by another character interrupting or just being cut out prematurely.
I've also had interference appearing in the audio once, like the crackling of an old record, that only fixed itself when I exited the game entirely.
I feel I'm playing a BETA....

They had been swimming just fine until I fed them. Then they floated out the tank and disappeared....again.

Once in a stretcher in Mordin's clinic, once in that sidequest where you have to investigate a crashed ship, and once during Jacob's loyalty mission, in a big rock.
Also, Kasumi's been stuck with the same dialogue for forever. The only thing she ever talks about is my Shepard and Jacob breaking up, even though that didn't even happen. Ît didn't even change after I did her loyalty mission or anything.
