We're having a discussion of the practicality of Morrigan's clothing in the DA II forums and I brought up a banter she has with Alistiar.

In it, Alistiar makes a comment about her clothing, she said something like "I don't feel the cold as you do" and he replies "I'm sure you don't feel a great many things..."

Everyone else does not remember it, but I know I've discussed the banter previously along with Morrigan's eyes as evidence she isn't quite human.

Can anyone help me?

I can't find anything like that in the wiki.

I think the only conversation involving Morrigan and clothing was the one she had with Leliana.

But the dialogue you listed does sound like something they would say.

I suppose it was one of the cut banters then. I wish DACentral was still up.

The "cut" banters were not cut.  They are kept out because of stupid errors -- data entry errors kept out a LOT.  I'll look up the banters though.

Edit: The only line in the .dlg that has the term "the cold" in it is a banter between Leliana and Morrigan where Leliana says:

Leliana: Maybe we could get you in a nice dress one day. Silk... no, maybe velvet. Velvet is heavier, better to guard against the cold in Ferelden.

I just skimmed through the banters in the toolset and unless I just missed it, I didn't see any between Morrigan and Alistair as described. I don't recall ever hearing one like that in game either.

But I'm sure the one Gaider quote from way back on Morrigan's eyes is floating around the Morrigan thread somewhere- I recall he rather straight up said she was human. But if her mother is indeed Flemeth by birth, and if Witch Hunt is anything to go by, then it would seem possible that maybe Morrigan isn't completely human.

Morrigan does also sometimes talk about humans as if they were somehow seperate from her. Like, when you initially ask her about Lothering, she talks about going there to observe the people and ponder what curious things they were.

So who knows. Flemmeth is definitely not fully human.

I found some people discussing this signature David Gaider had at one point:

Alistair: "Isn't it a bit cold to dress like that in the Wilds?"
Morrigan: "I do not feel the temperature as you do, if you must know."
Alistair: "I'll wager you don't feel a great many things as we do."

Wow, this conversation just blew my mind. Dang it! Now I'm wondering if Morrigan is a desire demon or something. That would definitely explain her coldness to humans, and that conversation about handshakes was pretty wierd. I mean she does talk like she isn't part of the human race and all that, so it does make sense.

Well, Morrigan was raised in the wilds by a woman who isn't entirely (if at all) human. She would consider human society strange to her because that's not what she's used to. As for her eyes, I noticed that anything that shapeshifted had yellow eyes (such as the restored werewolves in NotB.)
