All I have to say is, wow.
So anyways, I played on my imported elf mage who romanced Morrigan in the Origins campaign.
I picked choices that led me to go through the portal with Morrigan.
Now this just confuses me majorly, where did they go? What is the child's role? Does DA2 explain this?
In DA2, is your Warden a thing of the past ? What happens if I want to import into DA2 after this, if I am no longer in 'this' world?
Argh!

It was confirmed, however, that Morrigan would not be hugely involved and would be saved for a later expansion. Atleast, that's what I remember reading, and that was a fair while ago.. so it could've changed possibly, or I might be entirely wrong in the first place. :/
So basically my question is, having the Warden go through the portal doesn't break anything in DA2?

Nope.
All we know is that the Warden and Morrigan will not be in DA2. But the developers keep saying over and over in interviews that they are not done with Morrigan. Whether that means any Wardens that went through the Eluvian aren't done either, they have not said.

It is the complete and unabridged script of Dragon Age II - which is why they couldn't let players see it yet. The Eluvian leads to Bioware's Edmonton offices.Dez Aster wrote...

Until told otherwise, I like to think the gift was just a rough translation of the elvish book. Of course, I decided this because I happened to play Witch Hunt twice, with my two Dalish elf Wardens.

No, we don't know what it was. I'm not sure why people have trouble accepting the cliffhanger.

I could understand if that is what it was. If the Warden ever wanted to catch up with Morrigan again, a translated book would be useful. Anyways, the cliffhanger is hard to accept because we shelled out 7 bucks for that dang DLC. The least BioWare could've done was clued us into something.

I like to think that the second book was Flemeth's Grimore.

If that is true, then Flemeth saved our lives when we fought her, so that would be twice that we owe hersatans_karma wrote...
Maybe Flemeth is an Old God, and Morrigan is going to use the OGB to kill Flemeth once and for all.
