Well, I have some relatively good news (for 1 scenario anyway, though I have a hunch it will extend out to other ones as well).



I started a new game, Male Shepard, Romancing Liara, Kaiden Alive (wanted to get the Incineration Specialist trophy so I went with Infiltrator). Yes I have Kaiden's picture in the frame.



Ok, got to Horizon, meet up with him and to disappoint everyone, no he didn't hug me, kiss me, or anything like that. He just shook my hand. Got back to the ship and there was no "love letter" from him either. Went to Ilium, saw Liara, and she did in fact kiss me hello (like she was supposed to do).



So, apparently, the glitch appears to just affect the picture in the frame, not the actual romance flags. I'm going to try Shadow Broker to see if said flags are correct for that as well but no idea if I'll get to finish it now as I'm dead tired and usually go to bed around now. But figured I just wanted to give an update for anyone reading the thread (as well as devs working on fixing this) on what I had so far.



For anyone else, once you get through Horizon and if you feel like trying out the Shadow Broker mission, post up your results to see if it is the same where the glitch is solely the picture in the frame and not the in game flags. We'd need:



Male Shepard - Ashley

Female Shepard - Liara

Both Shepards - No romance

And just for the heck of it, Female Shepard - Kaiden, if for no other reason than to make sure things work with him correctly.

And to add, Shadow Broker plays out exactly the way it should if you chose Liara in the comic. All the romance flags, paragon interrupts, and options at the end are there. So the glitch appears to be just in the picture from the testing I've done. Like I said, it would be better if other people try the different combinations to verify this, but I'm feeling a little better knowing the gameplay at least seems to be correct.

Maybe BioWare bug testers all romanced Kaiden so they didn't spot it

I'm hoping this gets patched before the British release on Friday.

I *highly* doubt this. 

Though I'm worried now that an actual Kaidan romance won't import. It'd be just our luck for that to be the case <_<

I played as a female Shepard and romanced Liara and sacrifice Kaiden in the comic book and his picture is on the desk.

So it sounds like no matter who you choose the picture is of kaiden but the actual gameplay knows who you really picked. So while it is minor i am hoping bioware patches this soon because it is weird walking over to see your lover and up pops kaiden lol. I could not imagine it would be to hard for a minor issue like this. Please Bioware give us a patch!

Just don't use that terminal, use the one downstairs.  The picture doesn't turn on unless you get too close to it.

A thought has come to me regarding the picture. Has anyone checked the one on the Citadel where Anderson/Udina are? That is usually ALWAYS Kaidan IIRC so perhaps they've connected the LI pic to the wrong one and that one now is showing the LI

I also got this bug. Male Shepard, love interest Liara, rescued Ashley. If it was Zervan's photo I would let it go.

Perhaps they've retcon'd what the photo means now? The picture's not of your LI any more, it's of the VS? If that's the case, then it changes the whole meaning of the pre-Omega cutscene, and especially if you've cheated on a ME1 romance...

If the photo represents who died, any word from someone who picked Ashley? All the references to her in the thread so far were to whether she was the love interest or not, not if she died.

Oh in my test run that I was talking about earlier, I had Ashley dead.  Still got Kaidan's picture.

And after getting to the Citadel and finding the picture...

It's Kaidan.  So, that would have been sweet in theory, but sadly, that picture is working the way it should.
