They actually do. There was a thread about how to get morrigan completely naked via a game bug (I think it was hours after release). Evidently the textures were meant to be completely naked so it was done properly, but the underwear is added last minute.

I honestly have not tested this, so I have no idea if it is true. But many have claimed it is true in that thread.

I'm assuming this because bioware wanted to put full frontal nudity in this game and backed out (from what ive read). This is kinda why Morrigan puts on a bra to have sex because im guessing the cutscene animation was already done. Else she wouldve just been shown from the back or side.

I think it was the top edge of her bra, which is a darker color, but when I first saw the scene and had thought there'd be nudity in the game I thought I saw what you were talking about too.

well see I was thinking that too but wasnt sure. after watching it a few times you can see the part thats showing is brown and the top bra strap is black. obviously nobody is going to care, but i like finding things that arent supposed to be there

maybe you're right and it just the bra strap. maybe it was intentionally left there to show modders that the textures are still there

A lot of people seem to think that the idea of "violence okay, nutidy bad" is an American thing.  That doesn't make sense.

1.  The majority of the world's nude content is produced by Americans, working for American companies, in America.  The porno industry makes billions of dollars each year.  We have mainstream movies with nudity, and televeision shows and commercials that come damn close.

2.  Most Americans either didn't care about the Janet Jackson incident or, as I did, found it hilarious.  I was watching the Super Bowl halftime show and I didn't even notice that it happened because it was so quick!  The huge uproar with the FCC, MTV, and the networks broadcasting the game was a result of "idiots."  I say idiots but I really mean "people who watch FOX News and think that it's a legitimate news source" and "religious fanatics" and "mothers with nothing better to do than try to get their 15 minutes of fame on television."  The only reason that any of them even cared was because the Super Bowl was meant to be a form of entertainment for the whole family and there were children watching the program.

3.  The "idiots" that I described above exist in every country on this planet.  Don't believe me?  Take a trip to another country and see for yourself.  Do you honestly think that television in Germany is full of nude women?  Do you really think that there aren't video game ratings boards in England, France, Russia, China, and Australia?  Look around!  The "violence okay, nutidy bad" idea exists everywhere.  (Actually, in some countries it's "violence bad, nudity bad."  I'm looking at you, China and Germany.)

4.  I'm an American.  The majority of posters on this forum are American.  I don't agree with the "violence okay, nudity bad" idea.  I'm willing to bet a good sum that almost nobody on this forum agrees with it.  Why, then, would you believe that the majority of Americans do?  I suspect that the opposite is true.  More Americans oppose violence in televeision programs, movies, and video games than they do nudity.  Certainly most people don't want their children exposed to either of the two, but that's precisely why we have the rating systems.

I'm quite tired of the idea that Americans are a bunch of prudes while the rest of the world is totally cool with public nudity.  It's just not true!

I'm American, I wouldn't say people outside of the U.S. are up for public nudity or anything (I know, you're exaggerating here)



They're just a wee less uncomfortable with it than we are. You still see people like that Lawyer trying to ban videogames, chiefly for violence concerns. So they reverse arguement isn't necessarily true either.



Americans aren't prudes by any meaning of the word, we just act kind of two faced with it. I'd go a certain length and say that all Americans are SLIGHTLY less open about sex than others are, though by no means is it super noticeable. Again, its more superficial than anything.



Otherwise, its the vocal minority. It's not so much that we all agree with the people shouting OMG ******, but in a place with a whole lot of free speech, it's not like we can really shout these fools down, y'know? We're all content with seeing freedom of the body, but people usually pay attention to the ones yelling about it.



How often do you see an American okay with nudity on international television, versus one demonizing it? You probably see neither often, but I'll bet a good deal of money the vocal demonizers are the ones you see.



Honestly, America can be pretty cool, but just like any place, the loudmouthed idiots make us look bad. Diversified peoples work both ways, we have alot of different morals, and we have alot of different morals. V_V

I believe the main reason for "violence good,nudity bad" in the US is attributed to the rather vocal evangelical christians that reside their. Instead of being treated like the kooks they are, they have a lot of political power.

For that reason the moral compass of America seems to be largely influenced by them.
