I am looking to set up kaedrin's content with a steam download of NWN2 but cannot find the location of the default dialog.tlk file to override.

C:\\Program Files\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\Neverwinters Night 2

Is that the player folder or the install folder?

That is the install folder with the game files.



The steam version still has the same my documents/neverwinter nights 2 where the majority of the community made content will go.

I would put it in your player folder, you are going to screw things up if you put ANYTHING in the install folder. Only exceptions are some toolset things, but i'd go so far as to ask here prior to trying it as it usually just ignorance.

Whatever folder you think you should put it into your install folder, put that instead in your player folder, 99.9% of the time it will work.

Now if you read the instructions kaedrin gives, you'd notice it says to put it in the player folder.

You can put toolset plugin in the player folder too. That's where I have my all my toolset plugins including YATT.
