Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I would really like to have an answer because I have no idea what is going on with my save.

Ok I did 100% on my first hardcore playthrough with a ME1 import with wrex being ALIVE yet on Tuchanka its WREAV...ok whatever must be messed up no matter.

I make my insanity playthrough and before I click ok in my ME1 import confomation I check the choices.
Kaiden dead
Council dead
wrex ALIVE

yet once I get to tuchanka it is STILL WREAV!

What is going on, does anyone else have this problem and how do I fix it?

Honestly, though, I assume it to be a glitch. What platform are you on, and have you seen any other inconsistencies?

Get the save game editor and double check the flags.

It's not really a spoiler since its either wreav or wrex on the loyalty misson.

I am on the 360 ....got the collector edition and have all the dlc up to Kasumi or Overlord whichever was last. (Havent bought Lair yet)

As for as inconsistencies for choices and people no I have not seen any except besides wrex and for some reason on my playthrough that I'm doing now (maybe 3/4ths of the way) ashleys picture is down in my cabin yet noone has gone up to my room which makes no sense either....I turned down kelly and told her maybe when things settle down we can talk but didnt ask her to dinner.

Also what is the save game editor...because I thought that was only for pc and havent modded my 360.

IF wrex is alive but you DID NOT recruit him (youll still get the "wrex alive" thing in the import) then WREAV is leader due to the fact that it is the events that take place on Virmire that lead to him getting support to become chief.

You either have to:

1. Go back thru ME1 again and make sure to recruit him

2. Do a ME2 Playthru than open the ME2 save file in the save editor and edit the ME1 plot marks that you got. Then import your ME2 character and play it over again.


I know ME1 is agonizing to play thru but, If you want:
Kaiden Dead
Ashley LI
Council Dead
Wrex Alive (and recruited)
Rachnai Queen Alive
Feros is standing

I can send you my character file if you dont mind the name Alan Shepard...based off the 1st US astronaut. If you want a full rundown of my ME1 plot decisions send me a PM.

I recruit WREX in ALL of my Mass1 play throughs and only learned at around my 5th play through that ashley could shoot him in the back because of a youtube video.



I also checked again today to see the import I used to see if it does say and yes it does say WREX is alive.



I dont understand this.

ALso what is a save game editor? DO I need to like hack my 360 to do this...I dont know how to use the save game editor.

you have to extract the save file from the hard drive, i have not done so, but i was always tempted.

I am going to make another game in me2 and see if it fixes the problem.



I cant understand whats going on and doing 100% in ME1 and 100% in ME2 takes a long time so this makes me a little irritated.

That's pretty spoilerish, actually, though to be fair you have to be the fan equivalent of a newborn not to know about these anyway. Then again, there almost certainly are such fans out there...

 How to mod the 360 version of ME2

Here's the link for you. It's more simple to edit saves than the giant wall of text would suggest. You just need to download two free programs and have a flash drive for it to work.

Sgt...yeah your probably right my mistake. I keep forgetting that the ps3 just got the game and some people have never played Mass before even though its my all time favorite IP.

I calmed wrex down but somehow Ashley still shoots him
Thing is it says on the journal that i calmed him down

any way i can fix it or hell can i change it with the save editor

Anyway, what do you mean "calmed him down?"

This is what I found on my first playthrough (blind). I got to Virmire without having invested any points into charm or intimidate. So when we got to that part my only option (besides shooting him myself) was to pick (paragon) "calm down." At which point Ashley shot him. I was like, WTF?!?! Turns out that she would not have shot him and he would have actually calmed down if I had got his family armor. But I hadn't, so he died.

yea i got his armor but he still died
