ok Folks need some help here.

I just reinstalled windows XP.  I installed my platinum version of NWN1.  I went to update the game to the latest version.  Herein lies the problem.  When I ran the critical rebuild,  it keeps telling me that I can not run the patch with my current install.

any clues as to why and how to fix this problem?

disreguard this post. Don't know how I did it, but I managed to fix it some how.
