I was around at a friends place where i started playing ME1 on his xbox. loved it so i got the wife to buy me a copy for the PC when she was out. she ended up getting me both ME1 and ME2. i was in the middle of moving house so i never had the net switched on when i moved. after installing ME1 i went to run and it found that i needed the net. i went around to a mates place with my pc to to activate only to get an error, being hung over i thought i would just what as i was getting the net switched on soon. after getting my net on i reinstalled the game but i am still getting the same error about the Digital Product ID. looks like because i tried at my friends house and then mine it has stuffed it. any way to fix this?

Youve given us no information whatsoever in order to troubleshoot this.

Read it, and then post your system specs. And i do mean system specs. Listing cpu, ram and vid card, and saying "latest drivers" doesnt cut it.

i'm not really sure that it is a system specs problem. the error that it is giving me is about the IP address and digital product ID. i can play ME2 fine. i get the error after the install and try and run the game, tells me there is a problem with the IP address and digital product ID

So, without knowing anything at all about your system, your game version, windows version, or directx version, we are just supposed to magically know the answer to your problems?

It could be a SITE problem, as opposed to a GAME problem, anyway, which effectively makes it an off topic subject here.  But, as everyone has been certain to point out, there is an established procedure in this forum for reporting actual PC Tech problems experienced with the game itself, and the author of the thread seems reluctant to follow through, which may mean he is embarrassed because his hardware is inadequate as well.

windows xp service pack 3, nvidia geforce 9600 gt, AMD phenom II 550, 3 gig ram. i have said that i don't think it is a problem with my system running the game itself but a problem with the install/game/digital ID holding onto a IP address from where i first installed the game.
