Hi all. Is it possible to kill him with solo sorc? I mean, without exploiting simul. infinite summons bug. Petrification, finger of death, desintegration, polymorph doesnt work on him as the animation of spell is there but there is no effect on failed save. ADHW doesnt seem to affect him after sr is lowered : not even a message about it affecting him (no immunity to damage either). energy blades do damage but its not too good.
SCS II solo sorc and demogorgon fight.

Well, Demogorgon's immune to status effects and instant-death effects, so you won't have much luck with that.
I imagine it'd be difficult with a solo spellcaster, since Demogorgon has 400 HP and can crank out a fair amount of Spellstrikes and Breaches. Doing that much damage, while keeping your defences up and not running out of spells sounds tricky.

Well, I intend to try it eventually once I get there, so I'll have more input then. But even with 4 Mord Swords (hit as +4 wpns) and 1 Planetar + yourself slinging spells, I think you can have a good shot at original (ascension) demigorgon with SCS-II installed. I'm not sure what his resistances are, but I've heard reports of both Dragon's Breath and ADHW working very well (outside of SCS-II though). Though I think most of your casting efforts will go towards stripping protections and debuffing, while your summons do most of the actual damage part. Of course, you should sling energy blades or some such to exploit downtime between castings and/or use improved alacrity to fire off spelltriggers and other spells rapidly. No time stop of course. Setting a field of skull traps and using Limited Wish to protect your summons with MGoI and leading the fight into the mine field is another option for rapid high damage dealing.

I've done it solo. Took a while, and some wishresting and a quite large number of mordyswords and planetars. First part of the battle I tried to figure out how to hurt him. And I found that energy disc works pretty good.
Used simulacrums too of course.
He has some kind of awesome regeneration so you have to have a high dps to take him down.
