I play on x box 360 so i dont get tired while rapitedly tapping fire.
People have different playstyles, Passive and agressive, Presice and Spray 'n' Pray. I play agressive and spray 'n' pray so the shruken isn't for me.

I've been meaning to ask you about that, if it's harder to tap on the mouse button and trying to move at the same time. The controller is designed for feathering, so it was surprising to me that people still don't know about the rapid fire in the Shuriken. To me it's just always there.

And again, I also prefer using automatic weapons with power-heavy classes, because I don't feel like tapping the trigger in between setting up warp bombs, so the Locust is great for that.

TBH, I didn't about the Shuriken's RoF until I saw one of your vids. Since the release of Kasumi DLC, never bother much with that weapon. My bad.
Feathering the Shuriken has one problem (for me at least). It's the aiming what suffers. Moving just a tiny bit the mouse to get headshots is complicated while tapping the click button like that. In my vid, I think I got more headshots with the Tempest and Locust.
But again, it's a matter of skill and practice.

The Locust is honestly a better weapon than any assault rifle in the hands of non soldiers.

Due to their adrenaline rush ability a soldier can be more effective with a Vindicator or Mattock then any other class can be since these rifles both run out of ammo very easily if you can't benefit from the increased accuracy and +100% to +140% weapon damage bonus imparted by adrenaline rush. Even in the hands of a solider the Locust (I've tried it through modding) straight up outclasses the Collector Rifle, Avenger or Geth Pulse Rifle since its more accurate and deals more damage than any of them and since only Soldiers can use the Revenant anyway it doesn't even enter into the equation for other classes.

If you're not a soldier the Locust is really a better option than any Assault Rifle since its very accurate and has no recoil; but also has a very deep ammo well so that you can afford to spray it more freely then you could a Vindicator or Mattock.

Frankly I think the Locust is the most overpowered weapon in the game because it simply has no drawbacks aside from the weak and unsatisfying noise it makes.

PS: On a side note I really hope they balance the weapons for ME3 since so many of the guns are simply too weak to be viable options.  This is particularly clear with Assault Rifles where 3 out of the 6 available guns (Avenger, Geth Pulse Rifle, and Collector Rifle) are simply too weak to be a viable alternative to the Vindicator while the Vindicator itself is rendered obsolete by the addition of the more powerful and suprisingly more ammo efficient Mattock.  Its a shame too because the Avenger, Geth Pulse Rifle and Collector rifle all feel unique and are a lot of fun to use; but simply too weak to be a viable option on higher difficulty levels.

I prefer the Tempest to the Locust because I use my submachine guns to strip defenses most of the time. My Infiltrator lacks viable options at close range if I use the Locust instead, and with the Mattock and Viper covering medium range and long range respectively, I need a weapon I can rely on when there's a Collector looking up my nose.

I mostly play as a vanguard and always choose ARs because of the Mattock, so I actually don't need the Locust after that at all. And besides, I prefer to do Kasumi's loyalty mission late in the game, because it's one of the hardest combat wise, and dealing with all those YMIRs and that gunship is a PITA without lots of upgrades and just one squaddie.

So, I usually pick the Tempest instead. It's good as a backup for the shotgun and for blindfiring and cc once I have Inferno ammo. The Mattock is my all-around weapon and especially good for charging enemies with armor. I've noticed that charging Scions is actually a much more viable tactic that trying to avoid their shockwaves. And the Mattock + Inferno ammo really don't give them much of a chance.
