This isn't a technical question, but I feel it's a valid concern, and it's one I've had since mass effect one.
The cutscenes and conversations are great, I love them, but on multiple play throughs, I just don't need to see the entire conversation for every conversation. I like to fast forward so I can get through conversations faster.
What I don't like though, is that occasionally while skipping dialogue I'll inadvertently select a conversation option I don't want to.
I don't understand at all why the button to skip conversations is also the button that defaults straight arrow responses or conversation enders.
Please, PLEASE, fix this.
Fast forwarding scenes.

This happens on the 360 version as well I assure you, and it is extremely annoying. Hopefully they will learn their lesson for Mass Effect 3 as they didn't from Mass Effect 1.
All they need to do is make it so all coversations begin with no reply selected as standard, it shouldn't be that hard.

It's particularly annoying because Dragon Age did it right, with separate buttons for skipping and selecting, and ME2 even has a button for JUST selecting. Making the skip button do that as well only makes sense if they wish to punish players for daring to skip their dialogue after the work they put into writing it..
