I have bought Jade Empire on Steam Several months ago on a discount action. I downloaded it, but due to time issues I haven't got to playing it.
When I started the game everything seemed normal until I had to choose my character: The texbox under the character model automaticly scrolled down and there was no way I could manually scroll it back up.
I could however choose the character I wanted and start the game with it.
In the first sparring macht I noticed my character kept walking backwards without me touching a key. Pressing the 'move forward key' stopped the character from moving, but as soon as I released the button the character started to move backwards.
I went to all possible fora in hope to read people had experienced the same issue I had, but the only thing that came colse to it was the fact that some people experienced the same problems when having an extra controller on their pc.
I also have this, so I removed them from my USB Ports as suggested on various fora, but without succes.
I then uninstalled the game, and reinstalled it with my controllers (a logitec rumblepad-wired and an X360 controller-wireless) unattached, so the game would not notice that any controllers are attached to my pc, having to find that nothing helped.
I really, really, really want to start this game, it looks absolutely amazing and the setting is so appealing, but for now technical issues are damping my enthousiasm.
I hope someone can help me...
