Only 15, but i gotta admit surprised i managed to get the game. I havent actually played many RPG's, TES Oblivion to name one (I think it is) but DA is sheer awesomness. I love it, however i have a console version because i have a bad laptop.

Unless I've totally lost it, that one was a sort-of in-between system after the 8-bit, and before the Motorola CPU advanced system (ST-something), probably about 1989 or so.
I'd played one sort of desktop computer game or another for about 10 years by 1989. I missed all of Atari's stuff, although I had CompuPro (Z-80A, CP/M), Apple ][, IBM-PC, IBM-XT, Commodore C64, and IBM-AT by the time '89 rolled around. My all-time favorite game was Betrayal at Krondor (as you can see from my handle), but Curse of the Azure Bonds and M&M-6 are right up at the top with that one.
Welcome to the Old Codgers' / Old Coots' / Whipper-Snappers' Lament, prospects pool!
P. S. I don't mind showing ID to obtain Senior Citizens' discounts. It means I apparently don't look as elderly as I often feel!

I grew up on atari 2600, and got into RPGs with the original NES Dragon Warrior, Final Fantasy, and Zelda.
I haven't played DA:O yet, but am looking forward to getting it!

Still have my hand-drawn maps of Ultima 3 (don't recall needing to draw maps for Ultimas 1 and 2).
Fascinating to see Wanderon post on page 1 of this thread. One of the best posters in the BG forums. Never would have imagined he is 61.

20, turning 21. But then again, my parents were/are gamers and I grew up with all the old classics such as nethack, civ 1, doom (gave me nightmares during my toddler years when I watched over my Mum's shoulder), and, of course, baldurs gate.

I myself just turned thirty six this month, but, for some strange reason, I'm more attracted to younger girls that are in their twenties actually, young sexy, fine, hot, intelligent, smart, wise "adult" girls mind you.

lol it's my favorite name/alias of the moment, for the same reasons. And don't think I didn't notice you saying that right after you said you liked the younger girls!
