Just got a new Falcon Northwest computer and I'm playing Aion, Tomb Raider Underworld and Dragon Age Origins. First RPG was some thing on Intellivision. Firs MMO Ultima Online.
Beta tested AC, AC2, EQ2, Wow, Lord of the Rings Online, Warhammer Online, Age of Conan and Aion.

I'm thinking of giving Age of Conan another try (it ran really bad on my old Dell).

As I mentioned earlier, I'm in my mid 30s and have been gaming since the early 80s. My dad also plays video games and he's 62. My dad's a console boy though...Booo!

Well I thought I was going to be the older but found that there are a couple, just a couple, of people older than me on the forum.  I will be 66 in January and I can't really remember the first role plays I got into, but I do remember the silver and gold box games such as Pool of Radience, had a really cool looking fire ball spell.  Eye of the Beholder of course and never to forget  Bradley Wizardry Games, Bane of the Cosmic Force was my favourite.  It took me ages to draw the maps for that one!!!

Just wish I was better at fighting with a party, having a hard time sometimes even on easy.  Must be getting old!!!!!

Just 33 here, started with Bard's Tale and P&P DnD about 25 years ago. P&P dropped off after my teens but have always been playing CRPG's.



Kind of silly that a poster above was reacting to the partial nudity in the game affecting children and not the VERY graphic violence and death. Nicely illustrates differences in culture between you lot over there and us Eurobastards.

first rpg was ultima 4 I think. Or Bard's tale 2. I can't remember. Didn't finish either one. Games were hard for me at that age. And I couldn't turn to the internet back then for clues when I get stuck on a quest or battle.

I think Baldur's Gate 2 was the first rpg I was actually able to finish. With the aide of the internet of course. I would have never learned how useful a spell like breach was without the internet.

Wow! Thank you all for adding... I started on the PC with Fate- So actually I am new at this comparatively... I play mostly on my xbox now.. it's more comfortable for me. My gamer tag is Zeleen and some multiplayer games I play are Fantasy Star Universe, Circle of Doom, and Sacred 2.

First computer I had was a Vic20...hah

Then, we had our first x86 and I remember playing Prince of Persia.

But things changed when a friend of mine gave me Dark Queen of Krynn. From there, Pool of Radiance, Eye of the Beholder and so on.

Then, from Civ 1 to Elder Scrolls: Arena.

So much memories...
