I run a dual core with a 512mb Nvidia Geforce 210 series card.

There's some conflicting information around on the net. The gist of what I know is that the 210 is crappy entry level card hardly worthy of playing The Sims.

Yet, it runs Mass Effect fine on high settings and Mass Effect 2 kind of fine on high settings (it lags if you go into areas like the CIC on the Normandy, too much lighting I think.)

So I'm kinda trying to figure out what would cut the lag in that area, I've tried all settings in the options but it doesn't do anything notable to ease the lag. I stress it runs the game fine on high settings just the odd location.

But anyway, is there any suggestions on how to deal with it? And what cards might be useful to scope out in the UK for ME3 in the future? I have the feeling the 210 is going to be useless at that point in time >.<

The only suggestion is to turn down settings. Your card is not really capable of running something like that on high and using higher resolutions.

The cards you want to look at depend what resolutions you want to use and how much noney you have to spend. You will be looking at the most fps you can squeeze out of your price range.
