As long as it is necro'd and still on topic, I'm going to have say it is a choice between Meredith and Orsino. One of them will help you fight the other's organization! But that might be weird if you are a mage who kills mages, or if you betray your sister by siding with Meredith.

I like the idea that you get a companion based on your choices in the chantry/mage conflict

Meredith/Cassandra or Orsino depending on who you side with



That is if these characters are actually important within the narrative and we actually have a secret companion(something I haven't considered since this topic)
