I find Cassandra's chance of becoming companion.. 0.. since the devs said the game will end when we find out why hawke did what he did... so I guess cassandra might be a companion for DLC but not for DA2. and since the level cap is high and there might be something similar to awakening .. Cassandra will have a role there..



anyway for secret companion I want a qunari companion.. maybe a mage? since Qunari's mage seems to be in more bad situation compared to circle of magi

They've suggested she'll have an 'important role' in DA 3, so I think that's when she'll become a companion.

I thought the whole point of Cassandra talking to Varric is because a battle is looming on the Horizon and they need the Champion of Kirkwall, or at least understand the Champion, if they hope to grasp victory.
