Hi all, I know you've probably seen a hundred of these posts and I did a lot of searching and came up short. Feb 2010 I bought Mass Effect 2 from Gamestop. Played it, loved it, formatted old computer and never reinstalled it. I recently had to move rather suddenly and it was pretty chaotic. Somehow I lost the first CD and my CD-key. I'm the guy who always registers his games but I guess i forgot with this game :( However, I did register my Cerberus Network access key. It shows up in my account that I can download a bunch of content. Oh and I still have my receipt from gamestop. They won't replace it since I don't have one of the CDs

My question is, is there anyway to get a new copy or a digital download. As in sending a copy of my receipt or something to bioware. And then there is my cerberus network thing, but I'm not sure if that counts or not. I might just buy a new digital copy since it's cheap now.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The irony is, if you still had your cd key, you would be able to download it for free from EA's digital distribution service. If you had registered it on the forums, then there might be a chance an EA rep would be able to do something about retrieving your key, or possibly allowing you to download it.

I wouldnt hold much creedance in sending the receipt in, unless it was purchsed with c/card and has relevant details on there that they could specifcally match up to you.

That said, its rather cheap these days, would be quicker and easier just to buy it again, and use it under the account you already have created and have the DLC links to.
