The game must be registered, because when I go to the My Games --> Register Games the only option is to unregister it.
Any ideas? The tech guy suggested that the patch would fix this problem, but I've run that and still nothing.

I just got off chat with tech support, after 30 minutes or so he gave up and sent me here. I am not sure if I am doing it wrong or if it's a real issue, but for some reason my ME2 game/characters/stats are not showing up on the Social Network. I registered Dragon Age with no problems and all that info is there, but none of the ME2 stuff shows up. I have gone through the game once already and have just imported my character and started a new game... still nothing shows up (under My Games, the only options are Register Games and Dragon Age).

Your characters and stats arent uploaded. ME2 doesnt work like DA in that manner. Nothing to panic about.

Not much. Pretty pictures to let you know you have unlocked a bonus talent from your squadmates are the only relevant ones. The rest are strictly e-peen.
