I've noticed on Youtube and other sites that some people seem to think Dragon Age 2.  Why is that?

It's safer for some people to complain. Then you either get to be a prophet ("Ha ha! You fools should have listened to me!") or pleasantly surprised ("So I had my doubts but WOW...").

Or maybe they just plain don't like it, no sir. And this being the Internet, that means they get to stand on the corner and tell you about it. A lot. Because that's cooler than kissing the Man's butt. ;)

Why even complain about it unless you are really going to try to encourage the change? (flaming does not count)

Complaining is fine, so long as its constructive. Where it breaks down is when people feel they shouldn't need to be constructive-- they should get to express themselves however they damn well please and

a) everyone should listen to them

B) the developers should listen to them, at the peril of their bottom line

c) they shouldn't have to listen to anyone else

There is a problem with the very idea of communication therein, but I don't think anyone necessarily equates the Internet as being a vehicle for communication. Or that people even want to communicate so much as talk.

all right, since it seems people want to call each other names and bicker back and forth rather than have an actual discussion, i'm shutting this down. Remember that we can disagree with each other without resorting to juvenile name-calling and insults. Thank you.

End of line.
