Three backgrounds and three psychological profiles give Shepard a decent bit of variety in how his/her past has affected his/her personality. But is there anything you'd like to add to your Shepard/s to stretch out his/her/their characters? Is it a small, unimpressive thing such as a twitch of the eye in extreme stress, or a major obstacle like PSTD flashbacks?

If I could add a trait to my Shepard (a Spacer War Hero,) I'd say he suffered a severe leg wound in the Skyllian Blitz that resulted in his leg having to be reconstructed, and it's now 46% artificial.

How about you guys?

Yeah, I come up with a lot of that kind of stuff for my canon Shepard.

Mine was a sole survivor on Akuze. Since he also lost his family on Mindoir, he has mostly been able to handle the stress from that incident. Mindoir taught him a lot about how to deal with things and move on.

Nevertheless, he still blames himself a little bit for the loss, still wonders if there was more he could have done, so he has Akuze related nightmares from time to time where members of his old unit come to visit him. Since Virmire, Kaidan Alenko sometimes comes with them.

My Shepard (Also from Mindoir and a sole survivor on Akuze) has a series of complexes that resulted from such. As a result, he's prone to fits of rage when dealing with slavers or mercenaries in general, despite being an overall nice guy. He also bears a scar over his right eye from his close encounter with the thresher maw that he refuses to have medically fixed.
