Maybe that female turian is "bald" just like Jack...

Not that I particulary mind, I didn't knew about the whole in-game inconsistency until now.

It looks more like a male than male Turians. The fringe should've been longer or something. Short fringe looks too masculine. Then again, maybe thats just how Turians perceive beauty, who knows? That'd be a pretty lame reason though.

I don't necessarily like the way the female turian is depicted either, but that's no reason to outright dismiss it. There's probably at least some discrepancy between the way they look in the comics and the way they *might* look in-game. I mean, hell, look at the way Miranda was depicted in ME Galaxies (I believe that's what it was called) and ME2.

Meh lame. I would expect the females to have sharper longer heads. The human like bluntness of the face seems alot more masculine than it does feminine. And I wouldn't really count this at all, it's a comic, I don't trust it for a second to be cannon or represent what we will see in ME3 if we do see females in ME3.

Also except for face maping and color the Asari all look the same, no reason to assume the Femaile Turians won't. But I suppose that makes sense, unlike when we look at other humans; we can't tell females from males and individuals apart when we look at any other species. Birds all look the same to us, as do bears, deer etc. So it makes perfect sense that when dealing with a new species even if it is inteligent we won't be able to discern the subtle features that differentiate individuals.

Also I would be very dissapointed if either gender of the Turian species had that flat human-like face. Their elongated heads and almost snout like faces give them their unique appearence that makes them "cool" and "legit" in my book. If we make their faces just as flat as ours and just have boney plates then it's basically turning into a horrible flashback to Star Trek era aliens. I'm not saying that wasn't a great show, but every alien was just a human frame with a different looking face pasted on, or pointy ears.

There is a reason they keep them (most of them) on Palivon and why the men prefer Quarians.

What? I just can't control myself when I think of such things. After all, I did recieve a breeding request from a female who belonged to clan Urdnot in ME2.B)

Yeah, but he never described what they looked like.  However, there was a bachelor party turian who thought asari looked most like turians because of the head fringe, but the human and salarian didn't see that similarity as strongly...  And that's important to note - each guy at that party thinks the asari look most like a member of their own species.  Yeah the human can acknowledge the asari's skin colour and the distinctive scalp - but at best he can only see a little similarity to the other species, and in fact he's saying that the asari body looks exactly the same as the humans, which we, as humans, all agree on - but the other species struggle to see that.  So it's not unreasonable to think that the similarity between the female turian fringe and the asari fringe appears tenuous to a human*.  Therefore, I don't think the female turian design is necessarily in conflict with the games.

* It could be an asari "mind manipulation" thing, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's to do with the visual cortex working differently for each species (e.g. we know our brains have a facial-recognition area of our brains, which "enhance" the image of a face when we see it, so it's not unreasonable to think the turian brain has a similar
"feature" which is highly responsive to a certain quality in female turian fringes, such as the way they flare up slightly at the tips - which could possibly be why they respond positively to the asari fringe and see such a strong connection even if we don't)

Or it could be that the comic did it horribly wrong, I'm going with that explanation.
