Hopefully it's just a variation, like Saren. Otherwise I think it's too much of a change.

They look good. They look alien.

I'm really glad they've finally shown us female turians- loving the costume design - although I have to admit, I wished they looked more feminine - but hey if they want them to look like that, that's up to them...  Personally I prefered these:

female turian 1

female turian 2

I am really glad they don't look like that. Too much typical "femininity" by Human standards. They also look very similiar to male Turians.

I second this

Ouch. Well the deal with comics, if you didn't know, is that they don't have to be completely canon or accurate...but that doesn't excuse bad quality. I actually like the overall design (small fringes, etc)...but really? It looks so manly and...eugh.

Garrus said that they had head fringes, as well as the Turian in the Illum bar with the Asari stripper. So why don't they have them in the comic? Maybe it's just that one female.

How dare that make a female alien that doesn't at all look human! They should only make a female alien that people want to screw, that's why they made the asari! Right?

Ehhh...makes sense, not something I expected but can see the reasoning. Not gonna make anyone jump for joy but will at least make people shut up about it.

Sharp plating sticking off the top of someone's head is a human characteristic? Ohmaigawd. I'll keep that in mind next time. <_<

Not many people asking for a human-like turian, from what I see.  An aside: I do find it ironic that you have a Thane avatar.

The Asari, Drell and Quraians, get it right.

Also, the groundskeeper is a dirty dirty liar. She got "funny bumps", just gotta look hard enough.

I'm actually thrilled they didn't just resort to having another alien species that has the exact same kind of sexual dimorphism that humans have. HUGELY HAPPY ABOUT IT.

BUT HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO ROMANCE THEM!?!?!? :crying:

Well...if he lied about dancing turians, I would grant the possibility... :P

I like it.

I just want to see more of them.

I will admit, the "baldness" did startle me, but the way the facial plates curl around the face, it looks like you could consider that a fringe as well.

I'm more interested in the cowl. It looks split. Is that cosmetic or part of their anatomy. It'd be really nice to have some sort of follow up for this. Maybe this means we'll be seeing more in the DLC or ME3? I would really like to think so.

Undecided....

They look off.

No other way to put it.

Additionally, if Quarians do end up bald, they're going to look ridiculously similar.

Needs work.

PS: Hi steph (CDN misses you) and nightwriter

No head fringe? Bioware, I is disappoint.

It looks like what happens when Saren's head falls into a blender.

Garrus: Shepard, this is my sister Solana.

Anyway, the fringeless looks really really weird... Hopefully its only just a symbol of military status...
