Is there any reason why i cant use my extra mouse buttons by default Bioware?

Every recent game ive played has native support for extra mouse buttons so i can remap controls to them ingame yet not DA:O.

I know i can change buttons to keys in the mouse software but tbh thats a workround.

Not a complaint really, just curious if its intended.

PS. Oh and we need an option to make Tab keybind toggleable ingame. :)

My extra mouse buttons work. What mouse are you using?

Hmm. they should work. Are they setup in your mouse app to act like mouse button 4 5 etc. or is it something special?

Might be why mine work. i have mine set to just mouse button 4 and 5.  Ill set it to forward back and see what it does.

eh, sorry. running a Razer mouse that doesn't have those options. I have macros I can set for that. Might try changing it to moust button 4 or whatever and see if that works.

Oh i see, they work if i change the settings in mouse software to generic button, but on the default settings on forward/back the game doesnt detect them as mouse butons.

Good to hear. Just have to change back and forth if you use the browser mouse shortcuts.

Might want to look into this. Seems to be what you need:

It adds lots of options to your mouse including methods needed to make it send mouse 4 and 5 to certain apps.

Seems generic buttons keeps the forward/back functioning for relevant applications, so all good. thx :)
