I've been under the impression that people wanted the elf height range and the human height range not to overlap each other. Such that certain pairings would be outside of the conventional norm, as far as height is concerned.

Edit: Just to answer you. Not if a human female romanced a male elf or a human male a female qunari.

Multiple other people said they were not claiming sexism. You didn't. Sable Rhapsody illustrated claims of sexism. She was not replying to you. She even said in a reply, she was not replying to you. I think the obvious point is that Fenris is an LI. We can take it as a given now since there is no other reason to change male elves height and human females height only. They made it to match Fenris to femHawke. Since if you think that Fenris could be the only straight LI for femHawke they don't want him to be smaller as well.

Edit: And about BW being sexist. They will probably be as sexist as their customers want them to be. I think their only evaluation is still what their customers prefer. Obviously we prefer that femHawke's elven male Li is a bit taller than femHawke. Not all of us, but most.

Nah, that couldn't be the case - that would be too logical. Instead I shall choose to believe that BioWare is sending out subliminal messages of female sexism and heightism.

You do realise that there are female humans out there that are taller then male humans, that doesn't change their "sexual differentation." It just makes them...taller.

It seems like a strange concept, elves taller than humans. Certainly this wasn't the case in DAO, and it doesn't seem like Merrill is very tall at all, so Im assuming that human females are still taller than elf females. Why they made elf males super-tall, as apparently they did from what Ive read here, is rather a mystery. I suppose its for whoever wants to romance the elf guy, but it would've probably been better to just say he was unusually tall instead of making all the elf males taller than human females, that seems rather strange and inappropriate.

Of course. I wouldn't have an issue with that oddly as long as female elves and human females were the same height.

I know it would lead to the same thing but frankly it irritates me a hell of a lot less than having the male elf stay conviently smaller than the human male.

Though frankly I didn't care if they stayed their original size or if Fenris was an exception.

Not saying that anyone in BioWare actually believes this (well, some posts about dwarves by Gaider a while back did imply this but whatever) but that it's definitely the impression a change like this puts forth.
