Bioware seriously needs to make new Knights of the Old Republic. I think after Mass Effect 3 And Dragon Age 2 they should really go back to a Star Wars RPG for consoles. I know they have The Old Republic for the PC but I don't have a good enough pc to run games well and I really don't want to go out and spend $1000 or more on a new tower. I know there are more people out there that feel the same way the first two games were great PLEASE help light a fire under Biowares butt to get them to make a third installment.

Not their decision. If you did even the slightest bit of research or even used a tiny bit of common sense then you'd realise that The Old Republic, with or without its 'Knights of' prefix, is not the property of BioWare and it is not theirs to do with as they see fit. If LucasArts want to make a third KotOR game, then they will, but BioWare will likely not be involved nor do they have any rights whatsoever over the KotOR/TOR IPXxxTwisted1xxX wrote...

I cannot agree more. Let's get Chris Avellone back in to finish his story. Maybe if TOR doesn't do well, but still raises public knowledge of the Old Republic setting, LucasArts will hire them back to finish the trilogy. Not that i'm hoping TOR does poorly (Unless it doing poorly makes it free to play instead of subscription based), but i'd much rather have KOTOR 3 exist than an MMO i'll never play.

Considering how much goes into the making of an MMO and if it fails at that, I highly doubt we'll ever see another KOTOR. It's TOR or bust at this point. You're better off hanging your hopes on the Mass Effect series/franchise.
And OP if you don't have a good enough PC to run games well how do you expect to run a brand new KOTOR? You don't think they would make it on a new engine if they did do it? Of course they would.

Its shouldn't take this long to make a new engine for Kotor 3 just us the Mass Effect 3 engine, BioWare needs to grow a few to make this game happen.

KOTOR is one franchise that would greatly benefit from Mass Effect-ification, or rather Jedi Knight-ification (using those mass effect field powers in Mass Effect are almost identical to the Force push/pull from Jedi Knight).
I recently replayed the Jedi Knight trilogy and those games blow away KOTOR completely, at least when it comes to combat.
Hit a random mook with a lightsaber = dead mook. Even during lightsaber duels one-hit kills are possible. Lightsabers are deadly like they are in the movies, whereas in KOTOR a lightsaber feels barely more powerful than a regular sword.
KOTOR also had very weak ranged weapons, be it blaster pistols or blaster rifles, while again they are supposed to be deadly.

They should remake it for the 360 it be worth selling because the die hard fans would love it I don't have a pc so I can't get that version and it's hard to find anyone who has kotor in cd form for the old Xbox I have played this a million times I truleyyy love this game to death best game ever made I'd totally buy it for the 360 and wih tor launching it could be a celebration release or anniversary edition think of how much $ you would make between tor and a anniversary edition it would be awesome all you have to do is change the graphics and boom best game ever is be really happy because I can't play it anymore it freezes on the old Xbox and itd be awesome for the 360 who cares what others say you would make your hardcore fans thrilled
