"This item will be released on January 21, 2011.
Pre-order now!"
Amazon US has it too. At least right now.
"Only 1 left in stock--order soon."
I've stopped going to retailers and stick to places like Amazon. It's usually cheaper (Amazon UK is, compared to Amazon Germany, even with shipping) and I get the uncut versions a lot easier (since the UK versions are essentially the US versions.)

Places like Gamestop let you see what's in stock locally at their website, and most people have telephones with which they can call any other local shops in their area to inquire about their stock.
I don't see how an internet list saying, "X store on the corner of 1st and Main St. in Nowheresville, Indiana has it!!" helps an online international social network.

On topic: import from Europe in a few days, the copies there won´t be "sold out" as fast.

Hello Mass Effect 2 on Playstation fans.
We have heard from numerous sources that retail copies of Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 is sold out at many retailers and fans are unable to find a copy. While this is good news for us (we WANT to sell lots of copies), we want our fans to be able to find a copy and play for themselves.
Edit: News article about ME2 PS3 selling out
So, if you know that your local retailer still has copies, can you please post where they are? Something like "I was just at the Gamestop at Southgate Mall in Edmonton and they still had copies" or whatever works for where you saw them. Please include the name of the store, whereabouts in the city/town it is and the city name.
Also, this is for the physcial copy of the game. Don't forget you can also purchase the game digitally through the Playstation Network.
Help fans play ME2 on PS3 by posting where they can buy it.
Thanks everyone.
you 're still going to make more copies right
cause i really want to buy it

It's just a marketing ploy I think. By making it seem like it's selling out, more people may be apt to go out and purchase the game to make sure they get a copy. A game is selling out? It must be good. I should go get a copy.Mystranna Kelteel wrote...
I understand that this is just a "bragging" type thread, but asking people to list retailers that have it in stock is... just pointless.

This isn't a marketing ploy. Please explain to me how posting "we don't have enough games for you" HELPS us in some way? Yes, ME2 on PS3 is popular (this is good news), but thsi shouldn't be news to anyone. Yes it is also available digitally for those who prefer that.
This thread is to help people in North America who are having trouble finding a copy find one. Yes, telephoning around or using websites is also a good idea, but having fans halp fans is what being part of a community is all about.
So help if you can, if you can't, sit back and let those who can help.
